In August 2001 CruiseCrazies was founded. We were a small group of people who wanted to discuss cruising. We all knew we had a lot to say about one of our favorite passions: cruising the oceans on great cruise ships. Some of us were new to cruising, others had sailed many times. It didn't matter our experience, only that we had fun discussing it together.
When CruiseCrazies was founded, our community was just a few people chatting. Some were more knowledgeable, some were more talkative, while others just read for a while before jumping in to post. Together, we knew that we were forming something special: an extremely close-knit community, soon to be known as the "friendliest cruise community on the net." We welcome people who have never cruised, as well as those who have sailed on many cruises. We offer an extremely unique cruise discussion environment. We chat about cruising and non cruising topics as well. That is what makes us unique...There is room for everyone and everything here.
Over the years, CruiseCrazies has become much more than just a place to ask cruise questions. Beginning with a tiny discussion board back in 2001, CruiseCrazies now hosts Forums, Cruise Cams, the Passenger Meeting Hall, Ship Reviews, a Destinations Guide, Packing List, and many other popular features. We even have our own Door Hangs, Lapel Pins, T-Shirts, hats, and various CruiseCrazies merchandise available! New cruisers join us daily, we receive over 1 million hits every month, and we have BIG plans for the future.
