Does it really matter to you where your cabin is?

For the most part, we like balcony - aft cabins. I guess as long as we are not by the anchor, we are pretty easy going. We were by the anchor once. Definitely did NOT need any wake up calls.

WE LOVE THE AFT SECTION BALCONIES, BEEN UP FRONT A FEW TIMES, AND YOU ARE RIGHT NO NEED FOR WAKE UP CALLS FROM THE ANCHOR.

We have never been up front, bit that doesn't mean that I woildn't do it Always been midship or back. I did love the aft balcony on the Connie. The only thing we must have is a balcony.

Two more here who love those aft balconies. We have never been all the way up front but did have an inside cabin once. It was better than staying home but definately not a favorite of ours.

For us yes.We like a balcony amidships as my wife is prone to motion illness.

Rita likes to be mid-ship. The type of cabin does not matter--just get us on the ship!

We seem to only like mid ship Balconies.

We are not sure of the motion of an aft balcony. Do you feel it going up and down???

LOVE the balconies! We always try to get one on the stern, but when not available - Mid ship balcony will do.

We had an L-shaped room once and it was fabulous, so if a stern wasn't available, then I would see if one of the L-shaped was.

L shape sounds wonderful. What line and where do you find them on the deck plans?

Tim, I don't think the motion of the ship is better or worse in the back. I think it's the size of the ship. We definitely felt the rocking and rolling on the smaller NCL and Carnival ships. But it didn't bother us. It lulled us to sleep. Go figure!
