Great question! It's a cruise that departs and returns to the same port without visiting any ports and is usually just 1 to 3 nights in length. Sometimes known as a "booze cruise", it's popular with locals who want a quick weekend escape to eat, play and be entertained, all at an affordable price.

Hi John & Robin! You’ll often see a cruise to nowhere when a ship arrives in a new home port if it needs to use up a couple of days before starting its regular itinerary. We’ve done several of these but it’s really only worth it if the port is fairly convenient. I wouldn’t recommend flying somewhere just for a one or two night cruise. Now if you combine this with another, longer cruise that’s definitely worth it!
