Sad news

I read this on another website and can't find a link but there is a report from relatives of a passenger on this ship that it indeed happened. A 10 yr. old girl drown. revival efforts went on for 20-30 mins. but were unsuccessful So sad.

Thanks for the link. I could not find one yesterday.

We were on a cruise once when a fatality occurred. There was a three generation family on vacation and the eldest lady passed. All of the family except her hubby and a son got off at the next port. The hubby and son stayed on and I still remember the vacant, shocked look the hubby had. So sad.

We were in Tahiti when this happened and the family was from the US.

I agree that this is a horrible tragedy. Sometimes I think cruisers have a false sense of security when they are on the ship and don't realize that stuff still happens.
