Though I can't find a news report to paste here I just saw a report on GMA today about private yacht owners who are going to Havana from Miami . It seems that once they get there they do not have to be escorted around like other cultural tours that are being offered but are on their own to go as they please . I wonder how much this costs .

That's interesting. Here is an article link about a private yacht from Key West called the Stillwater that docked in Cuba a week ago (the first to do so, apparently). Is this the one that GMA was talking about? According to the article they were there on a research permit and appears to be different from the People to People permits required by other ships and groups which will be going to Cuba. Perhaps that is why they don't require an educational tour guide? Maybe someone can fill us in.
