we live two hours away from baltimore so its no problem getting there. getting on the ship was easy and efficent. cabin was ready very clean. next the lifeboat drill. next was dinner, the waiters were very attentive and friendly, food was good and varied. if you dont like what you ordered no problem get somthing else,deserts were very good also i had 2 different ones every night. room service at 7am every morning like clock work.very clean overall lots of crew wiping and cleaning all the time crew very friendly able to answer any question ,only found one that did not understand what i was asking. the shows were done very well we had a magician,comedian,lots of dancers and singers. the buffet on the lido deck was ok the food was not as good as the main dining room. the chinese food was sorry,the deli was good and the rest of the buffet was good,well stocked. we liked the ship very much and would recomend it to anyone. this was our first cruise but it wont be our last.we like carnival.our next cruise is march on carnival out of san juan
