COMPLETE REVIEW

GREAT CRUISE

Day 1 We left at 6am to arrive early. To our surprise a truck load of cantaloupes rolled over and caught on fire. Which closed the pa. Turnpike. Anyway last check in was at 3pm we made it but it made for a nervous trip. Boarding was easy and very quick. Since we had a suite we went to portofino to get a bite to eat. (really nice not to fight the crowd)

Sail away was nice met some cruisers we had text on M&M. Nice show that nite nothing special.

Day 2 Sea day again ate breakfast and lunch at portofino. Spent most of the day in the concierge lounge. Mario our concierge was outstanding. Show had a comedian who was very funny. He did a late nite show which surprised me in being funny and clean.

Day 3 Bermuda We took a ferry over to Hamilton and Then a bus up to the caverns.

The caverns we saw before but we had friends who had never been there we wanted to show them really something to see. Than we at Switzer Inn. After lunch we had ice-cream at baileys. (great Ice Cream). Than over to the museum at port. Watched the dolphins. Than back to the ship and the concierge lounge. We had drinks in the suite after dinner Mario set everything up. I cannot say enough about Mario.

Day 4 Sea day spent most of the day in lounge. Hurricane Leslie in the meantime was coming up from the south. So the Capt. Had to go around Leslie which set us back and hour. The water was very ruff. There were a lot of people who got sick. (wewere out with Katrina it was similar.)Anyway the capt. Gave us an extra hour in St Marteen.

Day 5 St Marteen took a taxi to Orient Bay. Spent a day on the beach. Still one of my favorite beaches.

Day 6 St Thomas. We went to St Johns island. Spent the day at trunk beach. Just fabulous what else can you say. The town is small but quiet different. We went to the mall there before we lefy.

Day 7 PR. Spent the day walking around Old Town. Just love it there we went up to the fort. Just a nice day for walking and enjoying old town.

Day 8 Laberdee Since we had a suite we got a cabanna at barefoot beach. While talk about getting treated special. Mario had a golf cart ready to take us to the cabanna. We were there early in the morning. We had a cooler in the cabanna filled with water. A young man was there to get us drinks food or what ever we wanted. The water was the best ever. It was very hot so the Cabanna was really nice it had a ceiling fan. We were able to say till the end. ( last ones on board)

Day 9 & 10 Sea days more time in the lounge

Summary Having a suite wow what a plus. We got a gold card. No signing for towels, breakfast in Portofino, conciege lounge, concierge, reserve pool seating, shows and much more. Jackie will have a very hard time going back to balcony. Food in the Main lounge was good not 5 star but good. Entertainment was very good. Ice show excellent (even though we saw it several times before, Need new routine.) Laberdee and the cabaña was just the finishing touch. I can’t say enough about it. We really hated to leave. The beach picnic, Lobster, shrimp,(very large shrimp) ribs, hamburgers, hotdogs, all kinds of veggies and dessert. I know I didn’t do this cruise justice with this review.

Joe - Thanks for your review. I would have been a wreck with the Pennsy turnpike. Glad it finally cleared for you. It sounds like you really enjoyed your suite. Was the Cabana part of the suite package or did you have to pay extra for that?

the private beach barefoot goes with the suite. The cabanna cost me $200 but we shared it with another couple so it was $100 for the day. It is well worth it.
