We arrived at Cape Liberty around 11:30. We checked our bags and park immediately without any problems. We checked in express boarding. We were eating lunch on the ship around 12. The weather was on the cold side and damp. Our room was ready at 1:30 pm. We met Elroy our cabin Steward.(excellent) Room was clean and very nice. (8246) This was by far the best M&M group ever. We started early with a sail away at skypool bar. More later on the group. (we were know as the ROYAL PAIN IN THE MAST)
The first Dinner we didn't dress up. I was missing one bag till late. The first meal was one of the best. We had Samantha & Isshy as waiters. (wow can't say enough about them) Opening show was good nothing exceptional. Really nice not having to wear life jackets on Muster Drill.
Day 2 sea day ate breakfast and lunch in windjamer. We had out M&M. We did a gift exchange, and a Cabin Craw. Wow did we have fun.Our leader of the Group came dressed as a Pirate. Again good and nice choice of foods.the Dinner was great I had Pork Medallions. The show that nite was very good. A Singer who intimidated other famous singers. Went to a few bars stayed a little longer at the schooner bar. ( very good guy on the piano)
Day 3 Bermuda. Eat breakfast at Wind jammer. Bought 2 day bus and ferry pass. Hop on the ferry to Hamilton. Then took #3 bus to the Crystal Caves. Really something to see. Had A great time there. Left there and walked over to the Swizzle bar for lunch and drinks. Highly recommend. Then after lunch across the street is Baileys Ice cream must stop. You can get the bus there back to Hamilton. Did some shopping there then back to dock by ferry. That nite after dinner on the ship over to frog & onion.
Day 4 Bermuda. Eat breakfast Then over to the Museum. Not being a Museum person really not excited. But was soon in for a surprise. This place is something to see. From the Governors house to prison and the grounds just fabulous. They have an area for swimming with the dolphins. (we didn't do this) There is a place with benches you can sit very close and watch the dolphins.
Had lunch at frog & Onion. Skiped show went back to schooner bar. Had to much to drink.
Day 5 Sea day didn't do much of anything. Just a lazy day.
Day 6 Nassau. Have been there many times. Not real excited. Didn't want to see Atlantis again or the tent city. So we tried something different. We went the Hyatt hotel. It is a couple blocks away from the dock. Bought a day pass. It is $55 but you get $30 back in credit for food or drinks. The beach was fabulous not crowded the food was good and drinks well you can't mess up beer. You can use all the no motorize things there. There is a pool for your use. They furnish towels. Great deal for the money.
Day 7 Coco Cay. The last time we were there it was in 2001. In saying that the improvement were significant. Just a beautiful place. We walk a little further to a place called barefoot beach and had that area to our selves. Great day. Sun is very intense use plenty of sun screen. Saw lots of fish and stingrays.
Day 8 We had our slot pull 20 of us put $10 in and everyone took 2 pulls we left with $9.80. Really alot of fun. Our Pirate showed up again. lol
Day 9 Sea day again started to think this is coming to an end. =(
Day 10 debarkation very smooth.
If you drive to port try and park as far left as you enter the lot as you can. If you can take your bags to the car you can get out of the lot at the other end and avoid alot of traffic.
