COMPLETE REVIEW

EMBARKATION

Our daughters dropped us off at Black Falcon Cruise Terminal in Boston at noon and we were on board by 12:30. Very smooth operation. This was our 2nd time through Boston and both times have gone well.

SHIP

The ship is very beautiful with walls of glass and glass elevators so you can almost always see outside. The center atrium was incredible with an entertainment area and balconies going up 11 decks. All the lounges and dining areas seemed very nice and inviting.

FOOD

This is a tricky one. The food we had seemed very good. We ate in the dining room 3 nights and the Windjammer the other 7 nights. the dining room food was very good, but we had our 3 yr. old nephew and 2 yr. old niece. The dining room was just to long a time for the kids to sit still. Our other problem was we both just had stomach operations and couldn't eat much or often. Again, the food was very good.

ENTERTAINMENT

I saw one show and the wife saw 2 and we both enjoyed them. The wife also enjoyed playing Bingo and we listened to the musicians in the atrium every night.

SERVICE

We were very pleased with the service. Our last couple of cruises it has been sub-par, but this cruise it was very good.

PROBLEMS

The biggest problem was the weather the 1st night. 100 mph winds and 40 ft. swells had wife in bed 1st night and all next day. Leaving from Boston in late October can be rough. Other problem was although the atrium is beautiful , it is very crowded. I'm used to the bigger ships with the Promenade that you can walk around in and have differant areas to relax in.

PORTS

San Juan was kind of boring. You don't get there untill evening and we just walked around the stands and shops. St. Thomas, St Martin, and Aruba were all great. We hit the beach in each one and had great time.
