Do you take your Xmas presents on your cruise?

I was wondering if a lot of people end up giving their loved ones their Christmas presents while they are on the cruise, if cruising during Christmas week.

Has anybody ever done this or planning on it?

I could imagine that giving the presents on the ship would make it so much more fun!

Not that easy if the kids are little but I have teens. Anything big they get prior to our departure. We take our stockings and the rule is the gifts must fit in them or they can't be packed. Of course I always pack those that don't fit but are small. Usually have a small suitcase worth that we carry on.

It's fun to spend Christmas morning with the balcony door open exchanging gifts while room service brings our morning coffee and pasteries.

We've never cruised over Christmas, but we have taken ski vavcations over Christmas, when I was a kid. We used to do Christmas the week before. We never bothered taking gifts along, since it was just more clutter. Besides, who wanted to waste time opening presents when the slopes awaited LOL. I don't imagine a cruise would be much different for us.
