I see where Royal Caribbean today gave their new Ultra Voyager a name, Freedom of the Seas. That's really a pretty cool name for a cruise ship. It sort of describes how we all feel whenever we're cruising. The 1st block of the keel was laid today, and the ship is planned to enter service April, 2006.

I posted this thought elsewhere, but I'll say it here too. It's a great name, and I'm surprised Carnival hadn't announced this name for their fifth Conquest-class ship. Conquest, Glory, Valor, Liberty. Doesn't Freedom seem to fit there? They still could name it Freedom, but considering the only common name between RCI and Carnival is Legend, I don't think Carnival will use it now. I think they missed the boat here LOL
