Yacht-Like Ship Earns Perfect Scores for Itineraries, Service, Value

MIAMI, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The intimate, all-suite Seabourn Spirit is

once again the highest-rated cruise ship in the world in the 2005 Conde Nast

Traveler Readers' Poll. The ultra luxury ship was awarded the same title in

the 2003 poll. Spirit's overall score of 97.7 was bolstered by perfect scores

of 100 in the categories of "Itineraries" and "Crew/Service." In addition, the

magazine's readers rated the ship's value as "Excellent."

Spirit's identical sisters, Seabourn Pride and Seabourn Legend, shared the

spotlight with admirable scores in their own rights. Pride earned a perfect

100 for "Crew/Service" and Legend took the top spot in the small ship category

for "Food/Dining," barely edging ahead of second-place Spirit by two-tenths of

a point.

"We are very proud of the recognition our ships' staffs have earned from

the readers of Conde Nast Traveler," said Deborah L. Natansohn, Seabourn's

president. "We concentrate on the guests' experience, and on delivering

service, style and value," she continued. "That's clearly what Conde Nast

Traveler's readers appreciate."

The latest win is added to a list of honors the ultra luxury line has

received in the past months. Seabourn was the highest-rated cruise line in a

recent Luxury Poll of readers of Departures, a travel magazine published

exclusively for American Express Platinum and Centurion cardmembers. The line

also scored overseas, taking top honors from the readers of the U.K. newspaper

The Telegraph and the Swiss Travel Star Gold award, based on a survey of Swiss

travel agencies. In addition, Seabourn earned the coveted Five Star Diamond

Award from the American Institute of Hospitality Sciences for the eleventh

consecutive year.

The three ships, carrying just 208 guests each, perennially occupy the

upper ranks of ratings in guidebooks, newspapers, magazines and other

publications.

The Yachts of Seabourn provides the ultimate in ultra luxury cruise

vacations to the most desirable destinations on earth.
