change of plans

i have read about 4 reviews from people that have sailed on rci and had their ports of call changed midtrip, mostly changed from grand cayman to costa maya. why is this and what if you have excursions booked out of grand caymon, and dont end up going there?????????? :smiley:

From what I've gathered, Grand Cayman is a long tender ride (as tender rides go), and it can have pretty rough seas there. Have heard of quite a few instances where the ship just keeps going. If you booked shore trips on your own, you are at the good graces of the company you booked with. If you booked through the ship, they don't charge you for it.
