Is 70 degrees in the Bahamas

Is 70 degrees in the Bahamas warm enough to swim in? I heard it's windy during this time of year. Also, how about the temperature of the pools on the ships? We are cruising Feb27-March 3rd.

Depending on where you are from, 70 degrees may, or may not, be warm enough. The bahamas are situated in the Atlantic, approximately at the same latitudes as South Florida.

For us Floridians, 70 is a bit cool....

The water in the ship pools is pumbed in from the sea, so it's about the same temperature as the ocean, somewher in the mid-70's during the winter womths.

There will be no problem laying out in the sun. The water will be warm and you can probably swim. Remember, the sun will also be much stronger that\n you are used to at that time of year, so it will probably feel warmer to you.

Are you talking air temp or water temp? To me, a pool warmer than the mid-70's is too warm. I used to swim in Lake Huron as a kid, and it was a lot cooler than the 70's, until later in July and August.
