SILVERSEA SET TO OFFER FIRST-EVER

GRAND MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE THIS SUMMER

(Ft. Lauderdale, FL – March 3, 2005) Silversea Cruises today announced details of its first-ever Grand Mediterranean Cruise for summer 2005. On June 19, the ultra-luxury 296-guest Silver Wind departs Venice on a grand 49-day journey visiting 37 of the world’s most desirable destinations in nine countries before arriving in Istanbul on August 7.

Guests on the full 49-day voyage will enjoy Combination Cruise savings, in addition to other available savings incentives, plus a $1,000 onboard spending credit per suite ($500 per person). Complimentary Business Class air upgrades are also available with the purchase of Silversea’s optional air and hotel program. The Grand Mediterranean Cruise, a collection of five distinctive voyages, also offers guests the flexibility of combining select back-to-back voyages or sampling just one.

“Our new Grand Mediterranean Cruise is the perfect way to explore the incomparable beauty, culture and history of the Mediterranean this summer, while enjoying generous savings,” said David Morris, Silversea’s senior vice president, North America sales. “And our luxurious and intimate Silver Wind is the ideal ship, offering enriching shipboard programs, award-winning cuisine and personalized service, plus our signature Italian hospitality, to just 296 guests who will take home unforgettable memories of the very best of the Mediterranean."

Silver Wind’s Grand Mediterranean Cruise will visit Italy, Croatia, Greece, Malta, Tunisia, France, Spain, Monaco and Turkey. Special enrichment lecturers and activities include Relais & Châteaux – Relais Gourmands guest chef Rick Tramonto of Chicago’s Tru Restaurant, who will host guests to cooking demonstrations and a gala gourmet dinner, and Philip Di Belardino of Castello Banfi Vineyard & Winery, who will be on board to share insights into the art of fine winemaking and guide guests through special tastings. The Grand Mediterranean Cruise also features a complimentary shoreside event in Kusadasi – an exclusive classical concert at the ancient site of Ephesus, one of Turkey’s most magical and best preserved places of antiquity.

The full 49-day Grand Mediterranean Cruise starts at $25,044 for a Vista Suite and $31,404 for a Veranda Suite. These cruise-only rates are per person based on double occupancy and include customary Early Booking Incentive savings, special Silver Sailings savings of up to 50%, and Combination Cruise savings.
