:undecided: WHAT IS YOUR OPINION~ WE ARE SAILING IN 2 WEEKS-- MY HUSBAND IS DISABLED NOT WHEELCHAIR BOUND, BUT USES A CANE- HE HAS HAD MANY BACK,LEG AND ABD SURGERIES-- WE ARE LEAVING FROM MIAMI AND SAILING ON THE NAVIGATOR-- DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A LOT OF WALKING FROM THE GATES AT THE AIRPORT TO BAGGAGE CLAIM? THEN FROM THE BUS TO THE SHIP? HE IS YOUNG (47) HE HATES WHEELCHAIRS BECAUSE HE HAS BEEN IN THEM MANY TIMES, BUT-- I JUST DON'T KNOW--------

Hi Karen...Welcome to Cruise Crazies!

Would your husband consider one of those motorized scooters? He may find that there is quite a bit of walking...even on the ship...because they are pretty big these days. I have been thinking of taking my mom one of these days, and she will have some trouble walking because of her hip, so she suggested a motorized scooter. I have never used one, but I think you can rent them and pick them up at the docks.
