Jason
NEW YORK -- Radisson Seven Seas Cruises has changed its name to Regent Seven Seas Cruises following a merger with Regent Hotels. The new Regent plans to offer luxury ship-to-shore packages with optional pre- and post-cruise hotel stays and land tours. Regent has hotels in Beverly Hills, Calif.; Miami; Zagreb, Croatia; Berlin; Shanghai; Kuala Lampur; Singapore; Taipei and Almaty, Kazakhstan. Nine more Regent hotels are being built around the world. Regent Hotels and the renamed cruise line are among many travel businesses owned by Carlson Companies, including Radisson Hotels. As part of the merger, the cruise line also plans to upgrade ship furnishings, decor, amenities and technology over the next 18 months. Other cruise lines that operate hotels or land resorts include Disney, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises. The Holland and Princess properties are in Alaska. Joanandjoe
Jason, we seldom catch you sleeping, but you missed this one. I started a thread on this two weeks ago. It's so old that the last post was on 3/9, and it has slipped to page 2. I'll bump it back to page 1.
