Jason
MIAMI, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery Cruise Line announced a new Florida Residents' rate for its popular same day roundtrip Party Cruise to Grand Bahama Island. Residents can cruise for the day from only $99.99 per person and enjoy party beads, free match play at the Isle of Capri Casino, and a Bahama Mama cocktail on island. To take advantage of this special offer, residents must book by April 30 but travel dates are good for April 23 through December 20, 2006. The roundtrip cruise includes three lavish buffet meals on board, games, entertainment, a swimming pool, spacious sun decks, lounges and a Las Vegas- style casino with slots, blackjack, roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, and much more. According to Hanns J. Hahn, General Manager of Discovery, "At a time when hotel and cruise rates are increasing, Discovery wanted to offer Florida residents who had such a difficult year last year the opportunity to get away and relax at affordable rates. The new rate must be booked during April but residents can travel at any time during the rest of the year." Discovery sails daily from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahama Island, departing at 7:45 am and returning at 10 pm. Discovery offers same day roundtrip party cruises as well as cruise and stay vacation packages at most of the island's hotels. The convenience of daily non-stop service makes it easy and convenient to travel to Grand Bahama, no matter where you fly or drive from. Mebert
Joanandjoe, I agree with you. For a few dollars more you can have 2 nights on the Imperial Majesty with restaurant style dining and wait service. Also, the low rates on Regal Empress apply to everybody.
