i'd like to know if liberty has the ability to transfer to print or cd of your media cards and /or can i use thier computers to do this if i bring my cables??? don't want to max my cards with low grade pictures. any one ???

Carnival Ship do have the media machines on board, I believe they charge $ 12.05 to download your pics to a CD. No you cannot use their computer s to do this task.

DH bought a "gadget" - he likes gadgets lol - on e-bay to download the pics to. It was really reasonable and is quite small (about 6" x 8" x 3") so it's easy to bring along.

Jennifer what is he downloading the pics to ? a laptop ? or some other gadget I have yet to figre out ( still have not figured out amp3 player ) do not laugh!!!

It's made just to store the pics until you get home - so you can clear your camera and cards. From the "gadget" you can transfer them to the computer.

Believe me - I would never laugh at anyone about gadgets - as far as they are concerned I'm just along to enjoy them - DH actually "uses" them - I haven't got a clue and I like it that way tee-hee!

Boss Coss, normally on a cruise, I have to download the pics onto my laptop everydya, but Greg got me a new card for my camera and it holds 600 pics, so I think I will be able to go 4 or 5 days without having to download...

Cheryl, I'm the same way (enough room on cards) so I haven't bought any external devices.

I've read about them but not bought any. I've heard you can also use iPods as portable storage devices for files.

txSherry - that looks about right. It does work well and you get to see the photos in a larger format before you decide what to get rid of.
