Jobowl: I also take a very short extension cord with multi-outlets, a travel clock and duct tape.

But, I never leave without my Swiss Army knife. A big one with every tool known to man.

I am with you on the swiss knife just didnt put it down.

I've taken a handheld ham radio in the past, but not lately. Didn't get much response.

DH Zack takes his handheld radio too. He made a contact in Ketchikan, AK when we were on a cruise. I think he also contacted someone in Grand Cayman.

I always bring my Swiss Army knife too....and a corkscrew, of course. But I guess those aren't considered unusual.
