Traditional dining on the Oasis

Hello. As you know we booked the Oasis last Thurs. for the Oct. 10th. sailing. Unfortunately traditional 1st seating was not available and we were wait listed. Does anyone have any idea if this will open for us as we are still 6 weeks away?

We've sailed on the Oasis twice. It's not likely that the early seating will open up before your embark. However, as soon as you board go straight to the dining room and talk with the Maitre 'D about getting switched to the early seating. He will work with you and try to get you switched. But it can be a busy time, so make that your first stop if you truly want to be seated at the early seating.

We have had to meet in the dining room for different times. The first night we sat at the assigned time (which is what we wanted to trade) and we were notified at that dinner that our time change was honored. I think the ships are use to these types of things. Be prepared for a long line in the dining room at the time of embarkation.
