About This Group

We had such a great time on 2017 and 2018 group cruises, let's plan one bigger and better than the last. This is the time and place to toss out some ideas and get a feel for what everyone would like - destination, ship, cruise line, dates, number of days, etc.... So start talking!

  1. What's new in this group
  2. There are still a number of interior cabins left for our Canada/NE cruise, now , plus tax, and you’ll get $50 to use onboard. Book yours while they’re hot!? https://7seajourneys.com/mbg/canada-and-new-england-summer-cruise-2019/

  4. Hi Everyone, I emailed Miranda and Andi, but if anyone else is on this cruise - or thinking of joining our CruiseCrazies group - I would love to put together a group of 10 for a private Cabot Trail drive from Sydney, with Cabot Discovery Tours. I waited too long to book the ship tour which is now sold out. However, I like the idea of a small private tour for up to 10 people with their mini Cabot Trail Tour, and they get great reviews on TripAdvisor. The price for the vehicle is $900 and divided by 10, it's $90 per person, which is far better than the $179/pp cruise ship price. If you've already booked the ship tour, you can cancel it without penalty. Let me know if anyone's interested.
  5. I'll just post the info here on the Dock. In case you weren't aware, our cruise is part of the new Princess Ocean Medallion cruising. At some point, we'll be getting an email ... or it will show up in the Personalizer ... to complete the process to become Ocean Ready. It might be just a matter of completing your on-line check in; not quite sure about this yet. Then, once that process is complete, you'll be getting your Ocean Medallion in the mail. What's the Ocean Medallion? Here is a Princess Flyer so you can read more about it. For more info, here is a YouTube Video about the Medallion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydv1fkYlFh0&feature=youtu.be The second thing I wanted to mention is that the Princess MedallionNet Wifi package - their new super fast, unlimited data plan - is available to purchase on the Personalizer for a discount. If you purchase onboard, it's $9.99 per day; the Personalizer has it to purchase in advance for $69.99. Here is a video about Princess MedallionNet: https://youtu.be/w4tRnIeTeFM
  6. Still on the fence? Here is a NEW offer from Princess that might tempt you into joining us on this fabulous cruise from Quebec City to New York. Get a cabin upgrade and for our 10-day cruise, get up to $350 onboard credit per cabin. For pricing and availability, go to: CruiseCrazies 2019-Request a Quote
  7. I'm happy to announce that the Caribbean Princess is the first ship to become OceanMedallion ready, and we will have the opportunity to enjoy a Princess Medallion Class experience first hand! For more information on what you can expect, watch the video and take a look at the MedallionClass Overview flyer. Video: The OceanMedallion Video: MedallionClass Overview
  8. I know we're starting to think excursions, and I noticed that Princess does not have the excursions available yet for our cruise. However, I do have other resources for pre and post-cruise transfers/tours and excursions to get you started: Check out my Shoretrips link for our cruise. They have excursions, pre/post-cruise tours and transfers, and I like that they offer some private ones, which would be affordable if we can get a bunch of us interested in the same thing (right now, we're just 5, but hopefully we'll have more). They also sometimes offer some unique tours that the cruise line doesn't, and they are trusted and reliable. Project Expedition. Quebec City airport transfers, hotel transfers, cruise ship transfers; post-cruise New York City for cruise/airport transfers, tours, etc. Viator: Quebec City and New York City- shared or private airport/cruise/hotel transfers; shared and private tours.
  9. Great articles, Jan! We'll have to look into Afternoon Tea at the Chateau!
  10. Came across this great article featuring a number of our Canada cruise stops. https://cruisemaven.com/what-to-do-in-seven-favorite-canada-cruise-ports/
  11. Happy New Year, Everyone! If anyone is still on the fence or waiting for the right time to book into our group, this would be it! Princess is starting the new year off right with a fabulous All-Aboard Sale. BOOK OUR CANADA-NEW ENGLAND CRUISE and you'll enjoy a night of FREE specialty dining, plus an additional $75-$125 per person to spend on board (depending on cabin type)! Plus, fares are LOWER than our group rates. Offer valid January 2-February 28. Click the link above or message me to learn more.
  12. This all sounds wonderful! They say the breakfast at Le Chateau is worth it - maybe we should take a look for one of the mornings! And I love the sound of sidewalk cafes and restaurants and art walks and cable cars and everything! ?
  13. Ran across this travel article on Facebook with ideas of what to see and do in Quebec City. Click to Open: Destination Quebec City
  14. I’d love the Fairmint. Check your email for a price I found.
  15. Well - I've always wanted to stay at the Fairmont...depending on the price comparisons, I guess - what do you think?
  16. @AndiD - since you and I are planning on arriving on the 7th for a two night hotel stay, here is my list of preferred hotels based on this article and recommendations. They are all located in the Old City, close to one another, and not far from the port. Do you have any in mind? Hotel Le Priori Auberge Saint Antoine Hotel 71 Fairmont le Chateau (that big, beautiful landmark castle-looking place)
  17. In case you weren’t aware, Princess is running a 3-for-FREE promotion which is combinable with our group amenity of $50 onboard credit per cabin. In addition to the $50, you’ll receive an additional onboard credit up to $200 per cabin AND Princess will pay your gratuities. Lastly, your cabin will be an upgrade within the category you book. Don’t miss out - book by November 19th! https://7seajourneys.com/mbg/canada-and-new-england-summer-cruise-2019/
  18. Here's a little infographic I made for our group cruise. Feel free to share and invite your friends and family, or pass it on to other CruiseCrazies who may not be active at the time. Reservations: https://7seajourneys.com/mbg/canada-and-new-england-summer-cruise-2019/
  19. And as promised, Jan has secured our cabin - so we are "in"! That is one big plus of joining our group cruise, Jan will take very good care of you from start to finish! She really listens to what your preferences are and patiently answers any and every question you might have! She will keep you well informed along the way and make sure you have everything you need to board the ship and enjoy your cruise. You can interact with the group as much or as little as you want, although we are all friendly people and do make good company, lol! ? And we have so much fun planning - won't you consider joining us?!
  20. David and I are excited, too, Andi. ??? I have your form and will secure your cabin tomorrow! If anyone here is in contact with our inactive members, please pass the word about our cruise!
  21. I just sent in my reservation form - I am so excited! I hope lots of our Crazies and especially our new members will join us!!
  22. Now that we’ve chosen our cruise for 2019. I’m closing this topic. Head on over to the new topic in our group:
