TAMPA, Fla. -- You can now win a cruise playing the Powerball lottery in Florida.
All Powerball tickets purchased from April 15 to May 30 can be entered into the Florida Lottery's Power Cruise promotion for a chance to win cash prizes or a private chartered 5-night Royal Caribbean cruise.
Players may enter their tickets by scanning the barcode printed on Powerball tickets using the Power Cruise Collect ‘N Win App or by manually entering the number printed next to the barcode at www.flalottery.com/powercruise.
The Power Cruise app is free and may be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. To play the Collect 'N Win game you will need to register Florida as your state and create an account.
To object is fill up a Power Cruise game card in the app or online. Each ticket will randomly generate 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 symbols. When five symbols, plus the free symbol, are collected on a game card, the player will earn an entry into the next drawing.
Five drawings will be held every Thursday in May, with 25 cruises awarded each week.
The 5-night vacation for two onboard the Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas cruise ship will set sail January 19, 2019, from the Port of Fort Lauderdale with more than 725 Powerball winners from more than 20 states.
Cruise passengers will enjoy a live VIP concert and a chance to win $250,000 in onboard prizes.
