A small group of Crazies cruised aboard Holland America's Koningsdam for a 7-day cruise through the amazing fjords of Norway, including the ports of Alesund, Bergen, Eidfjord, and Gerainger.

While on our CruiseCrazies 2018 Group, group member Miranda and I visited Shaw Botanical Gardens and Firefly (the home of the late English playwright/actor/artist, Noel Coward), as part of an independent private shore excursion with Unique Jamaica Tours. Shaw Park is absolutely beautiful - a garden oasis - and we had the whole place to ourselves. Firefly was equally amazing, with a secluded hilltop view to die for, and I can understand why Noel Coward chose this location for his Jamaica hideaway. We were also the only ones visiting Firefly that day. A few years ago, the long, winding, narrow road to the house was wiped out by a hurricane, now prohibiting large busses from making the trip. To see Firefly, you'll have to hire a taxi or small group vehicle.

As part of a pre-cruise stay (Koningsdam to Norway) at the Hilton Doubletree Centraal Station, Amsterdam, our group enjoyed a private group cruise through the canals of Amsterdam with "Captain Bob" of KINboat Canal Cruises.
