1. There aren't any changes at the moment. However, it doesn't mean that there won't be any changes in the future. Fliexibility is good to a point. When you don't get the same service every time, have to ask for things that the waiter brought because they knew you like it may be giving up too much for some. In my experience, anytime dining meant you had the privledge of waiting to be seated even if you eat early. Not such a good thing.
2. If it sells it goes. You could have a cruise for almost any popular performer dead or alive. I am sure it will sell tickets. That is the key.
3. That sounds like it will be a fun cruise. I won't be able to go on it though.
4. I won't be going with you, however, the Triumph is a really nice ship. This fall I will be going on my third cruise on the Truiumph. You will have a lot of fun, I know I did on my last two cruises on it. Have fun.
5. True RCL lost money this past quarter but they like Cranival are expected to turn a profit for the year. Joey, how will RCCL turn a profit. People are not cruising with RCCL these days. They treated my wife and I terribly on a cruise with them some years ago. They treated a niece and nephew of mine pretty bad as well. Other cruise sites are loaded with people who say they are now going with other cruise lines. RCCL now charges for steaks in the dining room, room service after certain hours. Why would anyone want to cruise with them? This quote is not entirely correct. There is still a New york Strip steak available included on the menu each and every night.... the $14.95 up charge steak is a steak which can be ordered from "Chops" IF you would prefer that instead. We have just got off Royal Caribbean and there was NO room charge during normal hours... only after 1 am - now how many people order room service after 1 am???? How Many People order room service after 0100 hours? Anyone that plays in the Casino or goes to some of the lounges. Getting into your stateroom is after 0100 is normal on a cruise ship. Most times I don't get in until after 0200 or later,

7. Carnival will be making a profit for this year. However, other cruise lines will have hefty losses and will have to take radical steps. We already are seeing RCCL charging for steaks in the dining room and for room service.
8. Hey Joey, NCL is going to Mexico? Are any of their passengers coming down with the swine flu? They claim they clean their ships well. Is that why the past couple of seasons they had an outbreak of the norovirus at least once?
9. Well, there are buses that go to the Boston Market. They have interesting stores and decent resturants there. You could also walk along freedom trail. Have you ever gone on a tour of historic Fenway Park? Go downtown and visit the new Fleet Center home of the Boston Celtics. There are lots of great things to do in Boston. Boston is a great town and I love going back. I will be there this fall myself.
10. Hi folks, anyone going on the Carnival Dream for the 11/15/2009 cruise out of NYC? This will be a great cruise. It will be going to Port Canerveral in Florida, New Providence Island in the Bahamas, and Grand Bahama Island. Two sea days going down and two sea days coming back. It should be good and I'm looking forward to it. I hope some of you folks are coming.
11. Howdy all, I'll stick with the traditional dining option myself. It is good to know when you are eating, where your table is, and who your waiter is.
12. I'll stick with the traditional dining as well. It is good to know where you will be sitting and who your wait staff are.
13. Are any Cruise Crazies going on the Triumph on 10 Oct 2009 or will I be the only one? Be looking forward to finding out.
14. I think it has more to do with people being more able to get away for more four or five day mini-vacations than for a full week or two. Especially if you have to travel to the port that the ship is sailing from.
15. I am looking forward to going on the Dream on it's first two cruises out of NYC this November. My wife always likes going on a new ship. We also enjoy traveling out of NYC so this will be good.
