  1. Just wondering what everyone's favorite party places are on cruises. Either one of the party boats they offer as a tour, a particular port in general, or perhaps a restaurant. In Cozumel I have done both of Carnival's party boat tours, I'd have to say although I enjoyed both immensely I'd have to go with the Fiesta party boat. It had a lot more dancing, games and music which I was looking for. For restaurants theres always señor Frogs or Carlos n' Charlies, although those can sometimes be hit and misses. I remember about 6 years ago in Mazatlan we went to Señor Frogs and it was crazy, so much fun. But my sister went last spring and said it was pretty dead. Also I have been to Carlos n' Charlies on a few different occasions and perhaps it just depends on the people there that day, but also the time of the day, the later you go, the better it gets, I know some of the cruises stay in cozumel until about midnight whih makes a big difference from it leaving there at 5pm. So just wondering what everyone else recomends as places or tours to go on for a good time.

  4. In June my family and I will be taking the Elation out of Galveston and stopping at Progreso, Cozumel and Belize City. We've been to Cozumel about four times so we know what to do there, but none of us have ever been to the other two ports, so I was looking for reccomendations for either tours that Carnival offers or just things to do in those cities. We're pretty much open to anything, except none of us are big shoppers.

  7. Yes I repeated the jubilee three times when it did the mexican riviera, and I did the sensation twice, and went on the elation once when it was doing the mexican riviera and going on it again next june when it leaves out of galveston I think. But yeah we live in California, so flying to LA is a lot cheaper than florida or other ports for us which was the main reason for the repeats. But it is nice, it is all so familiar kinda like a second home after awhile, you don't even think twice. Repeating the sensation was more that my grandma prefers the western caribbean and liked the itinerary, we always gotta make a stop in Cozumel for the partying aspect of the cruise.

  10. This has always been a hard choice, especially now with carnival's policy(I was about to say new but I just realized its been that way for a few years and I just haven't taken a cruise in the past two, time flys) where if you get early you can get really early at like 5:45 which would be way too rushed, or really late at 8:30 which is way too late for me to be that hungry, I agree I'd be more in the middle kinda person. But I'd probably most prefer around a 6:15 dinner time, just cause we never feel very rushed we always make it back with plenty of time from our tours or ports. But its nice because I have time after dinner to spend doing things with my family, but then can go and do my own thing later in the night with people my age. I like to spend my nights on the go and doing activities and it doesn't seem theres much going on in that 6-8pm period, but a lot of things start at 8, so I'd prefer to fill the down time with dinner. I prefer my relaxation time in the middle of the day.

  13. I love going outside in the middle of the night when no one else is around and just standing on the side or the front of the boat and listening to the waves hit. If there is an insane amount of wind it makes it even more fun.
  14. I did once. I went on a Carnival Cruise, I think it was the sensation, over my spring break of my senior year in high school, I became friends with one of the photographers from Prague. My sister and I went to Europe a few months later and got a chance to catch up with him and have him take us around the city it was quite nice. I love knowing people all around the world, always a friendly face wherever you go
