    My son is going on a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale. Anyone know a hotel that has free parking or discount parking for cruise passengers?

    Tim I like your idea of a DOD and a chair! Lol Ther are wifi packages available. I think 30 minutes was $25. There are other packages.

    Yes I read reviews. I usually don't read about the food as that is too subjective. I care more about the service, the general condition of the ship, and the vibe of the ship and her crew.

    Layers always work. The weight allowance for airlines makes packing difficult. I suggest using the ships laundry to help supplement your clothes. Enjoy

    I agree Tim. Howie doesn"t drink either so the package is useless to me. There have been many complaints about it.

    I agree too .many bells and whistles. The only positive to these huge ships is that more young kids will sail on them and leave the older classic ships for people like me that don't need an Ice Rink or a Zip line.

    Tim we were on her in November. I don't generally use the internet on short trips. I do know they changed the satellites last yearand that was supposed to improve speed. The Freedom had it done as well and I didn't find it faster. You can pretty much count on us going. My last stumbling block was just removed. I just need to double check with Howie.

    Tim sounds like we may have a mini Group cruise. Howie and I have a hold on a cabin and we will decide later today if its a go. I'm pretty sure it will be. We love the Jewel and are thrilled to sail on her one more time.
