We are down to just under a week before our first cruise, and got all our info today in the mail from Carnival...but I am confused on 1 thing. In 1 portion of the paperwork, it says that only a picture ID is required to board...and in another portion, it says that we must have a current or expired within the last 10 years passport, an original birth certificate, a state stamped birth certificate, a military ID card, or 1 other thing. Sooooo...can we get by with just our drivers licenses, OR do we need to have our licenses and 1 of the other items as well???

Actually...if I have to be honest... I would be the I/S Manager on a Carnival ship. I think that would be awesome.. (yes..I am a computer geek). I just think it would be an interesting position

I see your points. I would imagine it wouldn't matter one way or the other...just one more (or less) thing that can be done on the ship.. And considering we really only have 1 day @ sea...there will be plenty to do regardless. Thanks for the input guys and gals!!

As I have yet to indulge on a cruise...I will make my predicition that my favorite drink will be a bucket o' brew (Corona prefered). The mrs. really enjoys the Midori Sours.....

Well.. We are going to gut it out in 1 room I think. Our kids are 9, 5 and 3...so space isn't really going to be a problem. And I am hopeing that we will spend far more time OUT of the room rather than IN it. I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait. :grin:

Just curious if anyone knows, if the pools on the Carnival Ecstacy are heated? Also, for those that have done the winter baja cruise with them...how is the weather down while on the cruise? Is it swimming weather? We have 3 kids, and woudl love to be able to entertain them with swimming, among other things...but are not sure about the weather.
