  1. Who among my extended family have a really good packing list. I am getting so excited only 34 days to go and I don't want to forget anything. Thanks
  2. I never thought of that. Thanks Jbond the pictures are awesome. Really nice layout design. Thanks for sharing.
  3. I think I missed a page or something. I didn't see a link to look at your pics Jbond. How can I see them?
  4. Welcome to our family. I have no answers either. Sorry.
  5. Thanks Cheryl, You always have the right words to say. I know we will have a great time. He is just a little anxious. Plus neither one of us has ever flown before, so that is something else to think about. I try not to, just think about WHEN we get there not HOW we get there. Thanks again.
  6. BON VOYAGE ALAN !!! HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!
  7. Gina, This is great news. It is so important for the kids to have fun with someone their own age. It will also let you relax and do your own thing too. Keep us posted.
  8. Along with the El Yunique Rain Forest in San Juan and The Glass bottom boat ride in Nassau, We Chose Antiqua Isand and Historical Tour for St Johns. Explorer cruise and Grand Island Tour on St. Maarten. And A Panaramic Drive on St. Thomas. Has anyone done any of these? And could you give me any advice. By the way finished my first formal and am working on the second.
  9. gogetter, no hard feelings anyone can make a mistake. We are going to the eastern caribbean on jewel o the seas in Dec. The word on the strret about BMW touring rigs is if youy have to ask you can't afford it.
  10. BON VOYAGE!! AND HAVE ALOT OF FUN
  11. Thanks Shari. You always say the right ting. I know just as Jeff has said it is pre-cruise jitters. This is our first real cruise and I tried to tell him that. I even went to the other board where there are a ton of pictures to show, just to let him see. I know what you mean about the Marilyn Monroe figure. Mine also went many years ago like twenty after my first born. I do have pictures to prove I had one tho. I too have tried real hard to lose weight but to no avail. I am just so excited to be in the 40 days and counting area. IAm panicing over not being able to sew fast enough. Thanks again.
  12. Thanks everyone for all your opinions. It is all what I have been telling him all along. Jeff I think you hit it right on the nose about pre-cruise jitters. He is feeling better about it. After all if us two middle age somewhat fat people can hike 20 miles and bike for 10 hours what are we worried about? Gogetter I think yu are very much off base in your assumption of him not wanting to spend the money. If he did not want to do that we would not be going on a cruise and most definetely would not have just spent a lot of money on to motercycles on of which is a BMW touring rig. But thanks for your concern any way.
  13. Ok I am sending out a plea of help top all my extended cruising friends. Being that this will be our first cruise, I need some help. My DH has decided that we won't have alot of fun and will stick out like sore thumbs. Reason: We are in our mid 40's and not the best physique. I am 44 and weigh about 200 and am 5'8" tall. He is 47 and weighs about 200 and is 5'10" tall. He thinks we are going to look like a cxouple of fat old whales. I think he has been watching too much love boat or baywatch or something. Can you guys please help me convince him that everyone who cruises is not 19 and a gymnast or weight lifter. And that we will fit in fine. Thank you all so much.. Now that we are getting down to counting the days, I am getting excited and he is getting depressed. Men!! can't live with them, can't live without them.
  14. How about the sunset on your balcony with the one you love. That should be romantic enough.
  15. So glad she found the camera. Now she has her memories. I know what it is like to lose precious pictures. Not my fault that was one of the factors in me purchasing my first digital camera. Too many times the labs would lose the pictures. So they give you a free roll of film, but that doesn't replace your memories.
  16. My favorite time of day is early morning. When most are still in bed and the hustle and bustle of the day has not began. I love watching sunrises and listening to the birds ake up. So I imagine on a cruise it will be the same. Let you know for sure in Dec. Also love sunsets.
  17. Great pictures. I don't know if I could wear a bug tho'. You guys look like you had a ball. Nice upgrade plus 2 extra days. Way to go.
  18. I agree this could be a great site for Lindie, with people more her own age. Thank you Keith and Rita.
