    I personally love repositioning cruises, I have just returned from a 23 day Santiago, Chile to Seattle, WA trip and have done a couple of transatlantic trips also. They are really no different from any other cruise except you go someplace.

    As far as beds & bedding HAL wins hands Down. I hove the Star Princess has upgraded their bedding as I am going to spend 23 days on her.

    Did the Costa Fortuna Thanksgiving cruise (Caribbean). My 1st time on Costa and loved the line and would definitely sail on them again. The trip was a Little different from sailing on mainstream US type lines. The food was very Italian (Not Olive Garden) and had a lot of Europeans on board. The ship does not sail until 7PM due to the fact that it waits for a charter from Italy to arrive. I would advise trying this line to see if you like it.

    A goood tip. Bribe the Maitre'd with kindness on the first night by being very understanding of having to wait for a table. Ask questions like what time to come to dinner would help him.

    On Princess the dress code is the same in all of the dining rooms. I just want to tell you that I prefer Personal Choice

    On the other hand there are times when the Cruise Lines should offer so type of compensation and the don't. If you read the fine print they can do just about anything they please and don't always do the right thing.

    OK I am back from Nassau & Key West. The Mini Busses are still only $1. The Wyndham at Cable Beach was offering a Day Pass for $15/pp. Atlantis was offering a DIGS pass (Aquarium) available in the Casino at the Center Kiosk. ($29pp). You also could at get a room at the comfort suites $265 for 4 adults and have full Atlantis privileges cheaper than a day pass $150/pp.

    If you go when you want to go & where you want to go you will probably pay top dollar! But if you shop & are flexible you can still save a lot.
