boba, We are taking the cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada. It is only a 3 day cruise. We wanted to do a short one for our first time to see what it is like. There will probably be more. I will post my thought when I get back. Thanks for everyone's help. This group is great. Dale

We are going on a Carnival Cruise leaving from Long Beach. How long does it take to get on and off the ship? For example our cruise starts at 5:30pm, what time should we arrive at the cruise terminal? The info we received says the embarkation process starts at 1:30pm. Do we need to get there earlier than that? Would it be a problem to arrive at say 3:00pm? Also the ship returns to port at 8:00am. Any ideas about how long it take to get off the ship? Someone told me it can take hours... Is this right? Thanks again, Dale

This will be the 1st cruise for my Wife and I. Looking forward to it. Anyone else in this group going to be on that cruise? I think we are all ready. "Fun Pass" has been completed and printed. Any other tips or suggestions. Its only about a week away now. Thanks, Dale

My husband asked the question last night of what everyone recommended. I was wondering what people thought of a cruise to the Bahamas in July? Remember we are first timers. Also,are there any all inclusive cruises just wondering. thanks.

Thanks for the reply Dan. We are both 45. We live in Phoenix Arizona, so we will probably fly to our departure point. We have considered Caribbean, Mexico and Alaska. We are new to traveling (been working for to long :undecided: ). So we are looking for destination recommendations. Thanks, Dale

Hello, We are new to this group and new to doing a Cruise. We dont have anything booked yet, but are thinking about it. There are many different Cruises out there. Not sure where to go, or for how long. 7 days is about max for us. 5 days might be ok too. What would you recommend, considering these facts; We have never been on a cruise before. We have never been outside the USA We want to do this the 1st week of July 05 For our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks. :rolleyes:
