  1. I'd watch out for Fung Wah. Bad safety record. We took a bus to Bayonne twice and it was arranged through RCCl. I don't remember how much it was.
  2. Thanks guys. Leaving in the morning. All packed and ready to go.
  3. I know how you feel, Ed. It's 22 days for kme. I've been on Voyager twice and loved it. Have a great time.
  4. That's a whole lot of ship to see in 7 days
  5. I guess the best time would in 2007 when I finally got my whole family on one cruise. Freedom of the Seas for 7 nights. All 4 kids, dil, neice and nephew we're adopting and granddaughter in dils belly.
  6. Jason, you're not renting out any rooms are you?
  7. 1) Voyager of the Seas 9 night western carib. 2) 10 night Jewel of the Seas repo Boston to Miami 3) 7 night NCL Majesty to Bermuda Dream cruise would be Mediteranean, Italy and Greece
  8. Freedom of the Seas is our largest. We loved it. We really like the Promenades on RCs bigger ships.
  9. If your into the spa treatments, I think I heard that they run specials on port days to drum up business while eveyones off the ship.
  10. Our 1st was Labadee. We thought we had found paradise. That was in 2004 on Voyager of the Seas. After 5 cruises we've found many paradises, but that's still one of our favorites.
  11. Trying to get longer and longer cruises. Up to 10 nights this year, looking at 13 nights next year.
  12. $10.50 a day isn't very much for all the services you get but I've heard you can adjust them down. I've never felt like it.
  13. Arvids, welcome back. Where's your tractor in the snow with your bathing suit pic ? Wasn't that you ?
  14. You may want to pass on Dunns Falls as from what others say it is not a nice place - lots of people selling all the time. Sting Ray city was great. A smile and a polite " No Thank You " works fine and just keep walking. They're pushy but they're just trying to make a living.
  15. If it's your 1st time there, you gotta do Dunns Falls in Jamaica and Stingray City in Grand Cayman. If you go back sometime you can venture out then.
  16. DW buys it for the kids, but then she'd buy ice at the north pole.
  17. We go to the Caribbean so we pack all sorts of colors. DW does try to match our outfits for the day. Not exactly, but similar colors and designs. Me, just give me shorts and tank top and I'm good for the day.
  18. On sea days I like to get some breakfast and cofee and go to rear of ship behind Windjammer (RC) and just watch the wake. It's usually pretty quiet back there unless it's meal time.I don't stay awake very long back there, but it's some of the best naps I've ever had.
  19. Congrats, Cheryl. I'm still a week away from DDM so I'll dance with you guys till then.
  20. This cannot end up well. http://www.asylum.com/2009/06/26/luxury-ya...ting-cruises%2F
  21. I cruise because I don't have to do any work. no cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes, errands....
  22. No bingo for me, thanks. DW plays every day and she says it cost $35 for a package every time. I can find thousands of things to do on a cruise ship better than playing bingo, like taking a nap in lounge chair up on deck. Now that's exciting.lol
  23. Howard, I got 10 nights for the price of a normal 7 nighter. You can't beat it.
  24. Fall because it's cheaper and it seems to extend the summer
  25. Upgraded from interior to oceanview. If noone else is goimg, maybe we'll get a balcony. lol
