Hi Kids!! Happy Anniversary Bon Bon and Richard!! Janet....got the lanyards. Thanks so much! They're great. Busy, busy at work. Joe can at least post from work....I can't, although I doubt I'd have the time. Joe and I have been refurbishing the master bath. I finally finished the majority of the painting today. Joe can put the new cabinets up tomorrow. It'll be nice to have it done. Hope everyone is well. Did I miss anything important? No one's pregnant other than Angelina right?

Hi kids! Tough week at work for both of us. Joe's in wave season and I'm getting ready for route counts. We have to count EVERY route this year - 49 routes. Ain't gonna be pretty. Plus had to go to the area manager's office for a meeting Tuesday - the Postmaster came up on his vacation for it. Poor Joe and I were watching the Giant's game - problem at Joe's work and now he's on the phones working. Whatcha gonna do? The weather here is FREEZING today! Joe's been making fun of me all day. I didn't want to get out of bed it was so cold. I've got jeans, sneakers, long sleeve shirt and a sweater on and my hands are still like ice! I think I need to move farther south! There were great airfares to Grand Caymen today in the paper - $69.00 each way. Too bad Joe and I can't get much time off this time of year. Hoping to run down to NEw ORleans and see Barb and Leonard for a weekend around Mardi Gras and bring a few tourist dollars into the community! Time to go make a drink. Got to do something to warm me up!

Hi Kids! Anyone seen my husband? Must have had to work more than he likes today. It's been absolutely crazy for him lately. I worked 6:00am - 8:00pm yestreday so snuk out a little early today (actually my new boss - bless his heart - said "what the hell are you still doing here" and threw me out. Gotta love the guy! Gonna go watch Rachael Ray and tell Joe what I'd like him to make (you don't really think I can cook do you?) Don't worry Joe...I bought Lean Cuisine dinners - trying to wittle down this fat butt! You can come home late tonight a veg out like I did yesterday! Later...

I haven't tried the over the door shoe holder yet but that may be an idea. We bring the MP3 player and docking station so we can have tunes in the room. The cabin stewards usually love Joe because he sets them up with some Bob Marley or Jimmy Cliff to clean the room by each day! We do bring an alarm clock. I don't trust wake up calls although RCI's have been reliable when I used them. I personally love an inside for it's sleep value if we're only doing a 7 day or less. The other thing we always bring is air freshener for the bathroom.

I woke up at 3:30am on the couch so I guess I had a good New Year! Joe and I were listening to music and drinking - the next thing I know I wake up on the sofa! How was your New Year?

Welcome home Rose! Would love to hear your impression of the Sovereign. We live in South Florida and it would be easy to grab her for a quick 3 day but never have so I'll be very interested in your review.

We've got 2 planned so far - A transatlantic ong the Brilliance of the Seas April 28th and the Diddyville November 5th Freedom of the Seas. We haven't done a transatlantic since our honeymoon so I'm excited! Nothing like 6 days at sea to start a vacation out right!

Hi Kids! Poor Joey is still working. He's been complaining all day that he's had to work and can't play!! The phone's been ringing constantly! He no sooner hangs up and there's another call waiting. My heart bleeds purple Koolaid for him! I went to Macy's and picked up a new coffee maker. I love Faberware perculators but we just wore this poor puppy out. I hate it when the coffee perks but when you go to get a cup it's luke warm. Gonna start the new year tomorrow with a new coffee maker abnd I'm sure I'll need that coffee tomorrow. Mari...nice to see you! Hope you and Thom are doing well. We've got to get together some weekend and catch up. For anyone who hasn't met them Mari and Thom are absolutely wonderful people! Thom's stories kept Joe's mouth shut the whole first night of dining because he was laughing so much. Kudos to Thom...not many people can guiet my dear Joey! :wink: Janet...I like WW too. I need fruits and veggies. Atkins is just too restricting. Joe's got the South Beach book and he's trying to follow that. I've got back on the treadmill and am trying to be a good girl - then that damn pizza showed up last night! What's a girl to do........ Cocktail time! Poor Joe is still working. It ain't easy being us! Happy New Year!!!

Sewut....we did the same as Shari...parked at the top, walked down the steps to the beach. People climbing the falls entered at the bottom and climbed up the falls. We also used the steps...I figured I'd slip and break something! The falls are beautiful...but there's only one way out and you have to go through market area of people selling their wares and they're quite forceful. Don't buy the Blue Mountain coffee in there...it wasn't the real thing. Enjoy!

Cary...don't feel bad. I too bought some of the Steiner products after my first facial and I COULD see the bill, so I guess that makes it worse. The hard sales pitch is the reason I no longer get spa treatments onboard. I'm there to relax...not have someone badger me about purchasing overpriced products (they were good, but not any better than products I get at better department stores for less). I also agree with Janet...there's a few wonderful spas in town that do great treatments for less money and their products are available for purchase but never forced on you. In fact, my husband got me a 5 hours spa package for Christmas. He knows what I like!

Joe (JDiddy) and I sail May and November also. 2006 we have the Brilliance Transatlantic 4/28/06 and the Freedom 11/5/06 but we haven't scheduled anything for 2007 yet. South America and the Acapulco/Cabo cruises sound great. Joan we sail first week of November for Joe's BD as well.

Bunti...that's so funny about Rocky and Amateur Night. That's what Joe and I call New Years Eve too! Some day I would love to do a New Years cruise. Probably not anytime soon since getting off at this time of year is usually hard for me, but since another supervisor has this week off, I guess there's hope!

Hi Kids! Well so much for my 4 day weekend....it's turned into 3 days...got to work tomorrow. My new boss was groveling and Lord knows, I love when a man grovels and offers me extra money! As far as the posts go, it seems sort of insane to me to count posts on some boards and not others. They are all open to anyone for posting. If you're going to do that, just do away with levels all together and just leave people with their avatars. Just my opinion. I really could care less because it's much less stressful here, and even though my work life has lost a huge amount of stress, it doesn't mean I want to make it up when I come home. I'm comfortable here and personally, I sleep real well in an inside cabin!! :wink:

Hi Kids! Joe's got his work Christmas party tonight so I'm home alone. Probably good so I'll get to bed early. This is a tough week for me and other issues are making it tougher...but with my new manager...life is a LOT less stressfull! The supervisors from the office where the old manager went are already calling me asking if there's a place for them with me! Pretty sad when 1 person can cause so much stess. Totally not necessary! I could dig another canal cruise! Definately enjoyed it but I think there is so much to experience in that area you could do that cruise 2 or 3 times and not be bored! Termmie...I saw the Crown and Anchor Mags come in today. May be a few days till I get mine. Kudos to your carrier!! He/she is pumping everything out! I'm ready for the party on Janet's balcony! Hell, I'm ready for any party at this point. The Postmaster is taking us all to lunch Thursday but still working so no cocktails. :sad: I'll have to talk to Miss Barbara and find out what the car fairy brought her for Christmas! Now that I'm staying put I'm going to try and get another year out of my car since I only have to drive 3 miles to work and she's paid for. Time for R & R. See this is why I don't ahve an outside.
