My borfriend and I are going on the 7 day western carribean RCI on Feb 4. We stop in Ochos Rios, Gran Cayman, and Cozumel. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for shore excursions, or (prefferably) things we can do on our own by taking cabs of whatever. I don't mind doing the excursions if they are well worth it, but if we can do the same things without the crowds and not spending as much money I would appreciate the suggestions.

Nevermind I read it in the BOOZE discussion and got all the info I needed.

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows if you can bring on alchohol when you first board Royal Carribean in Miami? I know that in the brochures and online it says that you are not supposed to, but when I sailed on Princess last year they also said that you will not be able to bring alchohol and other beverages aboard but when we boarded everyone was bringing on coolers and cases of soda and beer nad whatever else. I just wanted to know so I don't waste money on buying liquor before I leave and have it stored the entire cruise.
