  1. Good morning, Great weather here in the Northeast...I am determined to finish the office today... Other than that...nothing, lol. Have a great day...and take care of yourselves... D
  2. Great post.... Thanks for sharing... I am one of the people that uses the hand sanitizers frequently while cruising...I also try not to touch the elevator buttons with my hands, lol...I have seen too many times, a person sneeze, cover their mouth and nose, which is good, but then touch the rail, or elevator buttons etc. People just need to follow simple steps. D
  3. Good morning, Our group is growing...we have 4 cabins currently booked...woohoo...almost time to party! LOL... Steph? Where have you been? D
  4. Good morning Crazies, Hope the puppy feels better soon. We got a new puppy too...a few weeks ago, although she is a little older...born October 7, 2006...a Great Dane...her dew claws were removed early on. MaryLou...ahhh the trick to getting character meals. I am pretty good at getting them. What I do is write down which ones I want...and which parks they are in...to start, as that will plan which day we are in which park (is this making sense?) Then I call Disney Dining at 7 am EST. I can make a few recommendations for you... Crystal Palace (Pooh characters) Magic Kingdom...8:05 am...and not on an early park opening day...this gets you into the park one hour before the park opens and your breakfast will be done before 9 am...you will have a head start into the park! This is our favorite. Breakfastasaurus...Animal Kingdom...same thing...early reservation...gets you into the park an hour early and ahead of the crowds...make sure it isn't an early opening day. This place is a little on the loud side....but the food is good. I don't remember how old your grandkids are...but if they are old enough for the ride Dinosaur...right after breakfast, take a right (you are already in dinoland) and go to the Dinosaur ride to the right set pretty far back...try to be the first at the rope...there is usually a surprise if you are. If you have grand daughters....Princess meals are a must, and Disney has added lunch and dinner as well as breakfasts at the popular places. The castle of course, is great...but...very difficult to get into...A great option and probably a better choice for seeing Princesses...is Aukershus in Norway at Epcot...again...make the ressie early...then when you are done you head to Test Track, Mission Space etc...well ahead of the crowds at the gate just getting in, lol...World showcase doesn't open til 11 am, but this place opens for breakfast...there will be Mulan, Ariel (she gets her legs, lol), Mary Poppins, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Alice, there could be more...I don't remember exactly... Remember in Epcot, there really are things for kids to do...each Country has a station for kids to make a mask...keeps kids occupied...and parents can enjoy the World Showcase as well. Chef Mickey's is also very good...we did supper here twice...this is the restaurant in the Contemporary Resort, near Magic Kingdom...the one that the monorail goes right into the middle of the resort. If you want help...let me know...pop me a pm.... Flexibility is important...lol...I hope this helps a bit. I have a busy day today...I am getting behind a bit...thank goodness I already did our taxes...phew! Have a great day... D
  5. OMG...all the catching up I had to do! I was away at a hockey torunament from last Friday...and the office moving this week...busy busy. I am not good at everyone's name and info...so I will respond as best I can, lol... Joey (yes I know you)...have a great time in WV...and best of luck searching for a home. Take your time and take notes on each place you visit. I know when I was looking for our house, we saw 4 or 5 in one day and was confused with which home had what...we have a Sears, Craftsman ride on mower...we love it. Cheryl ( I think) great gift for your dh's birthday...men love those kinda gadgets. My dh always recommends Garmin products...not sure the brand you got...but great gift nonetheless. Disney! We go to Disney at least yearly...any questions...feel free to ask. Cheryl? Great light fixture...reminds me of the one I got for my last house...I wanted to take the lighting fixtures with me when we moved...but we didn't! Temps here are frigid... I am being called by the kids...time for homework help. d
  6. Wow, you guys were chatty today... All your bad weather is heading to me in NH...hoping there is no school tomorrow for the kids, lol. We have a hockey tournament this weekend, fun fun fun Allergy shots...they told us the oldest daughter would need them...we opted against it...but she has pretty bad asthma, now she is 17, I wish we had them when she was smaller/younger. I got nowhere with setting up the new office, lol...too many things that I wanted to do first... Joey, it seems things are moving right along for you and David...good luck...remember to relax...lol. We were supposed to go to Disney in April...we usually go once or twice a year...but my son doesn't want to go if his older sister isn't going, as she has a school trip that week...sooo, no Boardwalk or Grand Floridian for us this April...boohoo. I love the planning for Disney trips...dining reservations etc. I usually have a nice calendar made up on the computer with all the confirmation numbers on it too. Have a great evening.... D
  7. Good morning everyone, I have been busy with hockey and the puppy and we decided to rearrange the living room. I think we are converting our family room to an office for me and dh. I need more room and so does he and we realistically don't need a family room and a living room. But, my idea of an office is ummmm, matching Cherry desks etc...not the computer style that we have now...lol...I want matching file cabinets (cherry) and nice comfy chairs etc. I have outgrown my office and so has dh....this way we can put the fooseball and bubble hockey upstairs where our current office space is...which means that hopefully they will get more use, lol. Have a great day everyone...say dry, warm and safe! D
  8. Good evening everyone, Shari, you amaze me with how you can single out everyone and say something...it must take you forever, lol. The worst part with my daughter, is we live in such a rural area...there are no neighbors and kids around to play with...(Hey Joey....weren't you looking for rural???) We abutt a horse farm...and woods on the other sides...there are two houses across the road...but no kids there...dirt road...I love it for the quiet, peacefullness...we have 5 acres...the worst part...no pizza delivery, lol! The weather here was sunny and some of the snow is starting to melt...but it is too cold to melt too much! Have a nice evening everyone... Cheryl...take it wasy...remodels are so stressful...esp. a kitchen. Watch that blood pressure. Glad to hear the blood clot is shrinking...that can be a nasty problem. Everyone with aches and pains...please take care! D
  9. Joey...awesome for you and David!! Cheryl...my sons frenulum was "tight" too...they clipped it while he was having the tubes into his ears for chronic ear infections...the poor kid had trouble licking an ice cream cone...but even before that, he was able to articulate sounds...so we weren't 100% convinced that it was really a problem. Great photos...beautiful family! D
  10. Good morning everyone, Haven't been around to awful mucht he past few days. Joey...moving? I can't wait til you spill the news. I was looking at ordering some summer flower bulbs...it felt warm for a few minutes at least. The sun IS shining, and it is not quite as bitter as it has been. When my son was little, his speech was not good either...no hearing problems, he just had his own little language. He is almost 14 now...and speaks just fine. My soon to be 5 year old talks non stop...diarrhea of the mouth...anyone seen the volvo commercial shere the dad puts the 5 ish year old in the car, she is talking, he shuts the door, she is still talking, and then he gets into the drivers seat and she is still talking?? YUP we know what that is like. It gets to the point that I don't even hear her...I tune her out...lol. If she isn't telling stories, she is singing...reading stories to the dogs etc...it just doesn't stop. We are heading out shopping today..a little later...we are getting a new Great Dane puppy...she was born in October, so she has at least begun the potty training. I need to buy some things for her... I too know what it is like to go shopping with a 14 year old...my son actually loves to shop, lol...my oldest daughter 17 called me from the mall yesterday...she was so excited...she saw soooo much stuff to buy, but needed my money...lol...I told her to call her dad. have a wonderful Wednesday... D

  15. Hi guys, Okay...well, son did the snowblowing 5th and last time....he was great throughout the storm, just did it without being asked. I did the shoveling...which wasn't much in comparison. The cars started right up...thank goodness. Today it is cold and windy...but the sun is shining... Have a great day... D
