  1. Thanks, Smoo! Perhaps you could give me more information about your Lei'd at the Luau cruise. We're hoping to look into Hawaii then.
  2. I'll definitely take your advice about buying the guavaberry. I'll try the beach, and will allow my husband to glance over at the nudist section. He'll get a kick out of it. Do people really get naked? Well, enough dirty talk out of me. Can't wait to sit on the beach. Is Coki beach far from Magen's Bay?
  3. I was feeling total DejaVu when I saw that video. We were so drunk at Senor Frogs and Margaritaville. Oh, what fun!
  4. I live for the beach. That's all we do besides some shopping. We're not too kean on excursions. I'll have to remember the liquor. Does it taste sweet?
  5. Any suggestions? Things we shouldn't pass up? Tips would be great. We hope to snag some great deals at Coach and possible get a movado watch.
  6. We're cruising to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Princess Cays Island with Princess Cruises. We are so excited. We cruised on Caribbean Princess last year, however, it was on the Western tour to Jamaica, Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Princess Cays. It was our first cruise. we don't want to travel any other way now. We are sooooo hooked. Already planning next year's cruise. Same ship with yet another itinerary.
  7. I, too, have been receiving that notice a lot more lately. So, we all have to step up and at least donate a few dollars. I just did! I'm hoping if we all donate a small monetary amount, our favorite site will continue to keep up with demand!
  8. Thanks, everyone! I am sooooooo excited. I need my cruise fix very soon. I am packing as I am typing. Can't wait to give you the dish and a great review about my ship. ('Cause I act like I own it!)
  9. I thought I might have to carry my life jacket around with me. Yeah, I know it sounds really silly, but I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. I got over that really quickly when I realized it's just a really great resort on the ocean! (With a bar around every corner!)
  10. Perhaps I should start teaming up with the Troublemakers Tour?
  11. I always tease my parents about their desire to go there, but I would have to say Alaska. For me, I love to bake in the sun and party day and night. I'm sure it comes with age, and one day I will be excited to go. However, for now, I would pass up any cruise to Alaska.
  12. My husband and I are 27. We went on our first cruise last year. Didn't know how we'd like it. Loved it! We like to hang out at the beach all day, and go to the nightclub on the ship at night. So far, I'm in love with Princess Cruise Lines. Lots of young people our age were on the ship. I hear Carnival also has lots of young people and tons of action. Right, Carnival lovers?
  13. The Caribbean Princess allows kitchen tours. We were going to go, it was too early in the morning and I was recovering from a late night.
  14. I really want to, but I'm still trying to figure out how to post a picture! I looooooooooove my shoes. Maybe more than my husband??????? No! But, almost!
  15. My husband gets annoyed with me because I usually pack 1 month in advance. I'm extremely organized. (Remember, I am a teacher.) I pack a small suitcase full of shoes. They are of course wrapped tediously in tissue paper before placing them in my luggage. I usually pack around 9 or 10 pairs. Again, I know I'm not in the norm, but we frequent the nightclub every night. Therefore, I need my shoes to match my outfit. Now that I have written this out, I am actually embarassed at how much I pack that I probably don't need. Oh, well! It's really fun!
  16. I am in complete agreement with Gregswife. Unfortunately, my state (Illinois) will probably never know this luxury of self defense. Anyway, I felt safe on my last cruise. I guess it is matter of perspective and living your life without that driven fear.
  17. I'd love a Hibachi (Japanese) style dining experience on my cruises. It might be difficult for the cooks to juggle their knives in high seas, but that would be the best part! I'm afraid if they put this kind of restaurant on a Princess ship, I might surpass Lorraine Arzt with days at sea.
  18. Have a wonderful and safe trip!
  19. 219 + my 1 cruise = 220 cruises for cruise crazies so far.........................................
  20. Wow! That was an amazing video. I am hoping to cruise through there within the next few years. Thanks for posting this! Truly amazing!
  21. Thanks so much for posting the interview. I love Princess, and many of their news information is on this seafaring woman. I've always wondered what kind of person she is. She seems feisty and knows what she wants. Thanks, again!
  22. Wow! Thanks for the quick reply, Canadian Cruiser! Your info. helps. I'm still pretty new at cruising. It will be our second cruise and we already know we're hooked for life!
  23. Has this happened to you? I was checking my info on Princess cruise website. We embark on Sunday, July 15. We were supposed to dock at St. Maarten on Wednesday, July 18, and St. Thomas on Thursday, July 19. However, I received a message stating the two ports have been flip-flopped. I understand cruise lines change ports due to weather situations. Why do you think they switched the two ports? Looking at the maps, this would make sense, but why keep the old itinerary on the website? Just wondering.
  24. While on our last cruise, we watched a video of our fellow cruisers going through the falls. It seems like everyone had an excellent time. Did I regret not doing the excursion? No, that would not have been for us. Like I said in another post, we enjoy making the day life the night life in the ports we visit. Going back to the video, again people had the greatest time. My only concern is I was watching the tape and a person fell. Don't worry! They did not fall hard, did not get hurt, and laughed the whole time. I have a point/question. To those who have visited the falls: Should people wear water shoes? Would this have prevented the person from falling? (In case I need to know for the future.)
  25. The "night life" is usually our day life in ports. We go to best bars on the islands we visit. We have had the most amazing times dancing, drinking, and eating during the day. Who says it has to be dark to drink? I love cruises.
