  1. So many questions... the deeper I look the more I want to ask about. Please forgive me. Has anyone tried the Lind Point Trail over to Honeymoon Bay or Caneel Bay? Since Honeymoon Bay is only accessible by trail, should be fewer tourists, right? (Like I'm not a tourist. hahaha) Good trail/beach? Not good? If you've not tried it, would you be willing or is Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay too good to miss? I'm getting more and more excited everyday - no - every MINUTE!!!
  2. I have heard someone say to get room service and load up a collapsible cooler for those day long outings. Have you tried this? What are some other options?
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. I am thinking of going to St John's to Trunk Bay or Cinnamon Bay. What are your thoughts on that? Can Godfrey tours help me out there? What is the terrain like on the way to the ferry - I have a problem with car sickness - oh wait, I'll have taken care of that because of the motion sickness from the cruise. Is it a nice easy ride or rough, rushed ride? Would you recommend one Bay over the other? Thanks again...
  4. We are on Holland America's Zuiderdam (if that gives you an idea of how laid-back we are planning to be ). We will also be going to their private island (Half Moon Cay) but don't plan to do any shore excursions there. We each have our own snokeling gear that we are bringing along. Which beaches are the best for snorkeling and can we get there by foot? Also, about half of us love to hike - including the kids. Any suggestions in that area? If you can give me suggestions about specific things on specific islands that would be awesome! Thanks again! PamJ
  5. In a few weeks we'll be traveling to these three islands for the first time. In our group we have a 10yo, almost 6yo, mommy and daddy who have cruised a couple of times and 4 first time cruising adults. We are definitely going to RELAX. The least 'touristy' the better. We are considering going out on our own instead of the cruiseline's shore excursions. Any suggestions, ideas, thoughts? Thanks ahead of time. PamJ
