    On my first cruise on carnival, I too was alone (widowed) The travel agency that was handling the cruise put me in touch with another gas also looking for a travel companion. We met for lunch to see if we wer compatible, and it worked out fine.Check with your agent. good luck

    hi Lindasue I think I might enjoy it a lot more, if I could get some things figured out. I still don't know how to put a phto on posting to the dock, and I have asked several people They direct me to a hyperlink that doesn't explain a thing., or at least I can't find the answer :) Things I see on the dock seem sort of pointless, but that is probably because I don't "belong" I think I feel the same way about what I know about "twittering" What do you think?

    We carry a small laptop computer so that every evening we can transfer and save digital pictures from our cameras to a portable storage device. That way, we 're able to start each day with all the camera memory available. I also pack a notebook webcam so we can stay in trouch with our pooch. Actually, 'Erin' hasn't learned just yet how to skype, but the house sitters have.

    We live in Southern California and cruise whenever we're able to save up enough money to swing another one. We've been to Alaska, Panama, the Easter Caribbean, and to one in the Mediterannean, and are heading back for another one in the Med this coming Fall. We both have grown children, and our rescue pooch, ' Erin', is our only dependent now.
