sorry your alaskan cruise weather was so crappy. i probably would have cried with that weather. after having paid out so much money. if it was so bad the excursions i planned may not have happened. i planned for whale watching (of course), the helicopter ride to the glacier, and the sea plane which was to end with landing on a lake. all of these had weather permitting on them. did you get to do any excursions? what did you do? i will heed your advice about going in may. reason for not choosing may was i thought it might be too cold. but, research has shown me that spring is the best time for whale watching. i will see for myself one of these days. keep me posted and stay in contact please. linda

is nanan a nickname or a grandmother name. most of my grandbabies use nanny for me.

we have the same first cruise ship in common, the carnival holiday. it was a good choice... not too small and not too big. we had rough seas but the holiday handled it very well. my grandson (chase) and i felt like we were rocked to sleep each night just like a baby. we loved it.
