  1. The CruiseOne/Cruises Inc conference will be on that cruise.
  2. 2014 will see NCL launch the new Norwegian Getaway for an Eastern Caribbean cruise sailing from Miami to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassau. I am currently booking cabins for this group. NCL will have a reduced deposit of $250 in their next big sale in two weeks. Spouses are welcome to accompany the girls, but the activities will be for the "girls." There will be speaker meetings and lots of fun activities along with this being Halloween during the cruise. To book into this group or for more information, contact Peg at Cruise One Duluth, 218-464-1722. Check out the website at www.cruiseone.com/pgawne-mark and register for the drawing for the NCL Breakaway! You can also sign up for a weekly email of the best deals. Feel free to pass on the flyer to your friends of Bill W.
  3. We are planning a Sober Girls Getaway on the NCL Breakaway, Eastern Caribbean, October 25, 2014. For more information, message me or email at pgawne-mark@cruiseone.com

  5. When you consider Azamara includes your gratuities, excellent service and food, and your beer, wine and spirits, it is a great deal!. I think you woud like the country club casual and small ship. We fell in love with them.
  6. You only need to wind up losing your passports, etc in a foreign country to make you glad you have insurance. Saved my behind after our Greek Isles trip.

  11. I still like to dress up, but it gets harder and harder to pack for two weeks and have both dress and casual clothes. Any good ideas on dressy clothes packing?
  12. I did HAL from Vancouver to Skagway in July with 10 nights by land with two nights in Denali. I had a magnificent time. I even flew up into the arctic circle and landed in Coldfoot and went up to Wiseman to the ice road truckers stop. I would love to go back in the fall about the last week of August.
  13. It was our 35th anniversary on 12/26/05 and our five children were going to come home to celebrate. One by one they had to cancel for various reasons. Not one to let a 35 year marriage go with out a celebration, we finally decided we had to do something. John G had been sending cruise info for months, if not years, and finally I asked him if he could find a cruise for us on short notice. We sailed on the Radiance of the Seas RCCL 12/05 to the Caribbean and had such a marvelous time that my husband (who originally could not imagine how he would not be bored out his mind before the cruise was over, Silly Man) and I booked our second cruise 5 months later to Alaska. Thanks, John, for not giving up on me!
  14. Those beds are HEATED! they are amazing!

  15. My hubby like to tour the ship and get the lay of the land so to speak. I love to check out the view from the balcony or the window.
  16. We were at the Dominican Republic last February but we tendered into Caya Levantado. The water was beautiful and we had a great day at the beach.
  17. I was all excited about our cruise last year on MSC until I read the horror stories on Cruise Critics. I suppose I should have noticed that "Critics" is the operative word! ;-) We had a grand time and almost ruined it by reading the reviews. A lot depends on if you see the glass half full or half empty. I'd much rather hear about what people enjoyed...like dogsledding in Alaska being worth every penny! Or taking my granddaughter to what turned out to be a nude beach (oops!) I will say that turkey on the ship at Thanksgiving was a little disappointing because I like my own turkey, but now I know. 19. Actually the whole ship is chartered for the second week. Actually we like Royal Caribbean so it will be fun to do the cruise on two different ships and we probably only have to go across the dock to the next ship. I figured we already were in San Juan and it is only 3 days of vacation for the second week off work! Why not? There are two new ports for us on the second week, too.
