Couldn't pass up the friends & family price I just got on the Poesia! 10 days for $400 + taxes ($66.??). Not even the price investigator could come up with a lower price! Never have sailed MSC, any input from my fellow cruisers? Food, service, entertainment. . . you know, all the good info.

So you basically have to keep track of the price yourself and notify them it dropped. . . that's crazy, some guarantee. I thought that the companies notified you. The funny thing is until the economy took the turn it did, I never really thought about it.

With Royal Caribbean offering the new "price guarantee" and all the websites doing the same, how does that work? Do you actually have to call them week after week until you cruise to find out if there is a better price? I know they'll either give you the difference in on board credit or credit your card if the price drops, but how are you supposed to know?

If you've never seen the glades and enjoy wildlife then it's definitely worth it. The only other option for something outdoors is the beach. South Beach is a great place to enjoy the beach and the night life of South Florida, but it's a drive. . . renting a car wouldn't be a bad idea. I personally love the glades, but for me it's more of a gator hunt / fishing expedition. This time of year, bring the insect repellent.
