Brenda, first of all, welcome to our "crazy" group! I have dealt with both TAs and websites. My advice is to use the website, but try to follow up by using the 800 number and talk to a human being. You need assurances that once you start paying for the cruise, the money is transfered to the cruise line's account. That way, if the website company goes belly up, your money has already gone on upline to where you won't lose it. TAs are also good if they are knowledgeable about the cruse in question and about cruising in general.
With the Crazies, find a forum to post your questions - look for "Forums" on the menu up in the header of this page, and you'll find a submenu of forum options. Choose a Cruise forum and post the question. On a more general note, lots of us are regularly posting on the Daily Dock forum. Scroll through the forums and you'll find us.
