  1. Happy Birthday nydiana!

  2. Do you have a way to drop in and quickly find just the new posts? Diana
  3. I would like to see the cruise line make better deals with the airlines to make the Europe, Asia and Australia cruises more affordable. Also if they let you book the airline with them but book your own hotel for pre-cruise stays in the port city. We always go a few days early to let our luggage catch up before the ship leaves. Their hotel prices are too high. I also like the loyalty recognition. I look forward to the special parties when the Captain tells us what coming for RCCL in the future. I am in favor of the rumored changes to to the RCCL Crown and Anchor Society to count your credits by number of night rather than number of cruises. It seams more fair. You get credit for all the 9-11 night cruises. I like the new ports they are adding. We cruise for the itinerary. Just help us get their more reasonably. Diana
  4. They had the one elevator taped off. 150 repair men got on the ship when we got to Malta. They worked round the clock and some of them stayed on the ship to do more repairs until Spain. The crew was terrific. They were so helpful and worked their butts off. I already have my full refund credited back to my credit card. We had a great trip, really just a few days of rough seas. We are already looking to book our next one with RCL. Diana
  5. I am leaving for Barcelona, Spain next Friday. Cruising Brilliance of the Seas Dec 5, 2010. Can't wait!!!

  6. We have less than four months until our next cruise, 12 Egypt and Greece. We just booked our flight. Getting excited. Trying to find a hotel in Barcelona, Span 12/4/2010 for the night before we get on the ship.

  7. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY (Irondequoit). I just got back from a short cruise on Majesty of the Seas to the Bahamas. We are booked on Brilliance of the Seas for a 12 night to Egypt and Greece on Dec 5, 2010.

  8. Hello and welcome to CruiseCrazies!

  9. Ray the Bahamas cruise is a young itinerary. We have done the longer ones (9-12 nights) to the Mediterranean, Panama Canal, and Canada and New England. They have all had an older crowd. Passengers also tend to dress more for dinner. We enjoyed the Bahamas cruise on Majesty of the Seas, Jan 11-15, 2010. This sailing had over 500 passengers that were attending a Jim Beam conference. So those people took over the 3rd deck dinning room and they were tied up in meetings most of the time so the attendance for trivia contest was must less that other cruises. We did win the progressive trivia contest. We got the pass port wallets and luggage tags. It was warmer. We had temps in the high 60 and low 70's. In Nassau we took a tour from a local taxi. We enjoyed the aquarium at the Atlantis Resort. He also took us around the city. We did go to Coco Cay, but did not do any water activities. We enjoyed the BBQ cooked on the island. Key West was fun. We did the white knuckle speed boat ride. It was a bit cold, but lots of fun. Diana
  10. We just came back from Majesty of the Seas 1/11/2010 4 night to Bahamas. We had a great time. It was the first cruise my hubby has taken in a inside cabin. We always book the balcony, but this ship only has suites with balconies. So since it was a last minute trip we took this cabin. It was a bit cool but we had a great time.
  11. We just returned yesterday from a 4 night to Bahamas on Majesty of the Seas and we have one booked for Dec 2010 on Brilliance of the Seas. It's a 12 night to Egypt and Greece from Barcelona.
  12. Welcome aboard the CruiseCrazies ship!

  13. I am a very loyal RCCL cruiser. So loyal in fact I bought stock when they went public in the 90's. Love the medium size ships.

  14. Welcome aboard!
