Anyone sailing with us. I'm taking my 17 year old son on this cruise. It will be my third time on this ship. Just need a quick getaway.

I am finally going on a cruise. A short 4 day. It will be my first without my husband. I live in North Rockland about 45 minutes outside of NYC across the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Well so much for being a smart ass in posting to you. My wife passed away 2 years ago. We cruised extensively and she loved it. I still had the cruise bug but it's going away a bit. I have gone two times since then. I have a good idea what your going through. The first 6 months were the pits - sat in the basement while not at work playing computer games. But it does get better. or so I hope.

I'd like to recport that I have found a cruise partner. She's the same age as me and our son's are the sames ages also. I had to make an adjustment to my dates, so now I'm going August 9th, 2010. -

Hi cruisetarp, Yes I've been checking. So far nothing for the dates I requested. Maybe its too early (even though my husband and I used to book a year in advance). I will keep checking though. -

I have 2 dates listed because I haven't decided which date I want to sail yet. The reason for that is because I was recently widowed (January) and I still have the cruise bug in me. I would like to get away for a few days for a short 4 day cruise. I will have my 17 year old son with me. I am looking for other women sailing solo so I would have someone to hang out with while my son goes off at night with his friends. I am looking to meet someone on this board for either sailing date to meet up with on the ship. Anyone interested in either of these 2 dates?
