  1. I live in Alaska and we are just starting to thaw out in May. If it is the latter part of the month, I think you will enjoy it. As mentioned, it May is our rainiest time of the year. Since I live here I think it is beautiful all year, even in the coldest of winter. Some people don't share my enthuisiasm and find June, July, and August to be best.
  2. In realestate I've heard over and over success comes from location, location, and location. When cruising, my equivalent would be service, service, and service. I find nothing worse than seeing your ship's attendants, on their off time, in port, and completely ignoring their guests. What I remember about my cruises most are the experiences first and the scenery second. I've experienced some bad service on Princess once and it will never forget it. My fondest cruise memories are the ones where the attendants expressed genuine service.
  3. Can anyone give me a good recomendation for a cruise which would include a stop in Israel? I would like something at least 12 to 15 days somewhere around 6th to 16th of June.
  4. Thank you all for the welcome. I'm not much for these internet chats, but I will do the best I can. I have 3 grown boys, and they signed me up on face book which I get tons of emails and different people challenging me to games, but I normally don't respond very often. I signed up here to because my wife and I are leaving on the Princess Panama Canal cruise on the 22nd of March, just 15 more days, and I am hoping to find out more about the ports of call on this cruise.

My wife and I have been or 3 other cruises with Carnival, to the Mexican Riviera, Western Carribean, and Hawaii to Mexico. This will be our first Princess Cruise.

I work for the Alaska Railroad, as a budget officer, and we work closely with Princess, Holland, and Royal Carribean for ground tours in Alaska. Each of the above companies have their own railroad cars, which we as Alaska Railroad pull for them. Not only do we (Ak Railroad) pull Cruise Passenger Cars, but we also have our own Passenger service cars, so an any given time in the Summer months, our trains will consist of 4 different passenger car companies, all painted colors to match the individual companies. We also carry freight, coal, and oil products. In winter months we do not run regular passenger train service, but operate charters, as well as freight.
