  3. I don't often do this but....It occurs to me that for each and every one of you on my friends list, I catch myself looking at your pictures, sharing jokes and news, as well as support during good and bad times. I am also happy to have you among my friends. We will see who will take the time to read this message until the end. If you appreciate your friends from all over the world, go ahead and copy this into your status too, even if it's just for a minute. I'm going to be watching to see who...

  6. Good evening Cruise Crazies Family, sorry have not had much time to stop by and talk until to night. Today was a long and stressful day. I left for work this morning at 6:45am (a 45 minute drive to work) with all plans to get our office in shape for an audit next week. Well a mile from the office I get a call that at 5am a sprinkler on the 4th floor went off and had rained water at 500 gallons per minute for 1 hour. Well I work on the 2nd floor right under where this sprinkler malfunctioned and the water rain down on our floor. Nothing like seeing water run out of your window. Well needless to say as government employees you can not just say everyone go home. I had 25 employees to relocate to others office within a 60 mile radius and as it turns out the earliest we may get back into the building is Monday and that is a if. Our office serves over 16, 000 children (sorry not sure if I shared that I’m as Child Support Service Supervisor for the GA Department of Child Support Services in other words I make sure individuals who are order to pay child support pay as order. A lot of people do not like what I represent but I feel it is a good cause) and there are over 13, 000 files that may have been water damaged. I know this was out of my realm of control but it is stressful when you have employees all over the place and you know this will have an impact on the children you serve. But God was good to me, when I got home tonight I was wondering what to do for super my husband came in and said our neighbors have invited us to supper and of course I yes. I’m no fool I know when a gift has been given. So tonight I wish the same kindness and love I was given to all on Cruise Crazies. Nancy welcome back and glad to meet you! Glad to here all are warming up from the cold! Tim, the 1st time after the loss of a love one is hard. I have been through this when I lost my Dad, my last living Grandfather and my 17 year old brother in 1995 (all within 12 months). The way I handled the 1st times as they would come and go was to focus on the joyful memories I had of my love ones. This did not replace them but I felt each one of them and their love for me. I am sure you will find your way to get through the 1st times too. You are in my prayers. Ed congratulations on booking your Cruise. Only us Cruise Crazies understand “Oh What a Feeling!” Sorry guys if I was too sentimental, just a lot deal with today, thanks for listening. Terri

Have a Great Day Cruise Crazies! Terri

  14. It is a furlough day for me and making the best of it. I have the whole house to myself, the boys are at school and my honey bunny has gone to play with his cousin Andy in the dirt in Monticello, FL. His cousin Andy is bringing in an excavator to clear his land to plant hay (big boy toys ). What to do? I’ll figure it out.

His cousin Andy is bringing in an excavator to clear his land to plant hay (big boy toys ). What to do? I’ll figure it out. Felina- keep us posted on how your new diet plan works, I’m interested in the results. Shari- I’m not a cold weather person either that is why I live in Southwest Ga and only about 2 to 3 hours from beaches on the Fl panhandle. But I thought I might be able to handle Alaska weather for 7 days on a Cruise Ship! This will also be nice in that this cruise is an all adult cruise no high school or college age kids and their significant others going with us this time. They were fun to be with but very active. Kevin- what were you thinking? I agree chalk this one to temporary insanity……… By the way Kevin my 25 year old son is excited about your book. Well off to see how it feels to have the remote control to myself and maybe read a book by someone I know? Have great day and weekend everyone! Terri

  18. Evening CrusieCrazies family, was busy last night could not get to my computer to post. Tonight Cousins came in and we had to taste the homemade wine we have been making. All about ready, watermelon, mayhaw, pineapple pear, honeysuckle, cherry, apple, muscadine(?), scouppernong (?), corn wine (made from corn on the cob) and several cabernets. The watermelon is not very good very bad after taste. The cabernets were good and so was the muscadine(?) and scouppernog. Nothing like living off the land. Debbie Happy Anniversary! Tim so sorry to hear about the police officer. My younger sister is a disabled retired deputy and her husband is a police officer. This is a great lost to family and community. My prayers to the family. Wishing everyone a good evening! Terri
  19. Hi Terri. The title of my book is Missing in Action: A Family Saga (ISBN: 193330071X). It was released this last week on Barnes & Noble and Amazon. It is not in any bookstores -- yet. It's about a young boy who loses his father in a plane crash during the Vietnam War. When the boy grows up, he hears about a US government effort to search for, and retrieve the remains of missing servicemen and women. He volunteers for the team searching for his father. In the real world, there is a unit called the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, headquartered in Hawaii, who have people all over Southeast Asia. My book is dedicated thousands of Americans still missing, and the members of JPAC who are still out there searching for them. Thanks Kevin letting me know about your book me and my son are very interested in your book adn wil be reading it!

  23. Afternoon Cruise Crazies friends I hope everyone is doing well- so glad this is the weekend!! Had a long work week (4 days of working 14 to 15 hours). I hope I do not have anymore of these work weeks. Not sure I can catch up on all the news since the last time I was awake to chat with everyone. Marylou glad you made it safe to Kingsland Ga. I live about 4 to 5 hours west from Kingsland in a same town called Camilla. We haven’t had any snow just, cold, wet and windy. Mi biggest problem has been my muddy road. My home is on an 80 acre farm and 2 miles of dirt road a pave road. Rose lifting your husband’s friend Tom and his family up in my prayers. Steve wishing Gramps many more good days. I have been where you have been at and know the good days are the jewels to cherish and imprint in memory to carry with you. Felina, sorry to hear about your friend’s husband. Your friend and her family are in my prayers strength and comfort during this time. Shari thanks for the Welcome, glad to know another genealogy and ancestry cohort. I hope your brother has a fast and successful recovery. I will put him on my prayer list as well as SIL and your Aunt. Kevin, congratulations on your book. I missed what your book was about would like to know. I think the last time I was on Cruise Crazies I was asked to share a little about myself. Maybe I want bore everyone. I live in Camilla, Ga with my husband Mel. We will be married 27 years this May. I have 2 sons Jay-T (25 yrs old) and Shaun (22 yrs old) and both are in college. Mel (aka Honey Bunny) is retired from the State of Ga and I hate having to go to work while he stays home and plays. I work for the State of Ga. We live on an 80 acre farm that Mel’s dad was born on and raised up on. I’m blessed with a father-in-law and mother-in law who are angles from God. We don’t farm the land ourselves. We rent it out to a larger farmer who plants cotton or soybean except for 20 acre which we plant for hay to sell. Mel and I have been averaging a cruise a year since 2007 but last year we went on 2. Our next cruise is to Alaska on June 21, 2011. Well more to come, husband and my son Shaun just came home from a pheasant hunt. Everyone stay safe, dry and warm. Terri
  24. Not only did mine change but I now fall under the new one Ophiuchus. All my life a Sagittarius the Archer. Now I’m a Serpent tamer from what I’m been abel to find about this new sign is that “Ophiuchus is considered a healer of men and a doctor of medicine or science. He seeks higher education and enlightenment. ...he is an interpreter of dreams and vivid premonitions. He is envied by his peers and favored by his father and authority figures. I wonder if I can have a premonition about lottery numbers?
  25. Good morning CrusieCrazies- A bright and sunshine morning in Southwest Ga this morning and 46 degrees expected to get to 71 we will see….. Terri
