  1. Maybe it's different for various cruises and ships? I don't know, but that's what I was told going into those cruises. In fact, the staff was not supposed to accept the tips, if offered, though I'm sure they did.
  2. This sounds so cool to me. I am going to check this out more. What a neat thing to do, at least for one cruise. Glad I caught this post. Any other cruise lines have rooms like this?
  3. I rely heavily on room service. However, I have never paid for it; it's part of the service. On the cruises I've been on, tipping was not part of the trip. That was done at the end and was split among the servers.
  4. I've never been on the Triumph which seems to have some good comments made about it here. Is it still in service and are there any other opinions, good or bad, about this vessel?
  5. That's more than I would want to pay for that honor. It would be different and interesting, but the price is too high in my opinion.
  6. Most of those decisions are always going to be driven by the economy, even more so now. If the ships aren't fully booked, they aren't going to make the money they need to continue.
  7. I agree with you and that is a shame. Maybe it makes things easier but not safer. I am a believer in safety myself. When a disaster happens, that's not the time to be confused.
  8. Hey Wendie, Welcome aboard! =)
