Hi Jiggy,   We have done that sailing twice - both times with Royal Caribbean, on the Radiance.  This cruise sailed from Vancouver and ended in Honolulu, so it was only 11-days for the cruise itself.  We have also done roundtrip from LA on Princess, which was 15 days.  We did love the roundtrip, but the one-way gave us many more days in Hawaii....the itinerary itself was more port-intensive, and we tacked on a few days in Honolulu afterward.  We loved sailing out of Vancouver toward Hawaii; the weather was perfect in both September and October and after the first day or so, it was warm enough to be on the pool deck - in our bathing suits! 
Now that Celebrity and Holland are both sailing from Vancouver you have more choices - so go with the itinerary and dates that work best for you.  We love the Koningsdam and now that I know it is going....I will definitely look at that itinerary!  BTW - We are two seniors in a balcony - you will love the sea days on your balcony on this cruise!!

Andi - My office is done. I still use the downstairs desk for bill paying and household stuff, but the majority of the stuff has moved upstairs. Now I can close the downstairs hutch and keep people guessing. They probably think there's a TV in there - or a bar! Actually, now that I think about it, that's not a bad idea ... 😁
Not only was RBG an inspiration and role model as a supreme court justice and advocate for women, but she was a dynamo at the gym. Here she is - planking - at age 85. Whenever I feel like giving up, I think of The Notorious RBG -

To become CLIA certified you have to be actively selling. Since you're in Australia, you should look at some online travel courses at your local colleges. If you're really serious about selling travel, you could join a host agency that provides on-line training and support. Do a Google search for host agencies.

Jan - I have kept back issues of Cruise Travel Magazine since 2014...let me know if you want me to check on a destination or ship or whatever and I'll send you the magazine if I find one (or more) that fits!
 

We did a puzzle back in the early days of the pandemic. We borrowed a couple more from my brother but never did another. I think that was our one and only puzzle. But we did find it a relaxing way to pass the time.🙂

Our Sky Princess cruise was canceled. I'm not very optimistic about yours. Let's hope I'm wrong!😎

Glad to hear you’re thinking optimistically and planning now for next year! I am a pretty sedentary person on a cruise, preferring to lounge in a chair and nap or read most of the day, which is why I gravitate towards Princess and to smaller ships. I love the production shows at night, and Norwegian does a great job with their Broadway series. If you’re the type that likes non stop entertainment, you can’t go wrong with NCL and Carnival. For even more activity and people watching, though, you might want to try Royal’s Oasis class ships with their Floating-resort feel and “neighborhoods”, and a cabin overlooking Central Park or Boardwalk. If you’re traveling with a family of varying ages, these ships have something for everyone.
 
For ports, I love The NYC or Boston to Bermuda cruises. The ship sits in port for three days with plenty of opportunity to explore the island.
Any of the cruise line private islands (Cococay, Great Stirrup Cay) are always a great beach day. My favorite Caribbean ports have been St. Maarten, Aruba, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios. 
 
Caribbean is nice but my all-time fave destinations are Alaska, Norway, Mediterranean, and the British Isles.

Keeping fingers crossed for you! We’re on the Nov. 5th CruiseCrazies cruise from NYC to FLL on the Sky Princess. I’ve canceled two cruises so far and hope third time is a charm. Let’s hope it’s safe to cruise this fall!

I can't believe it's been nearly 2 years since this cruise. As much as I love the relaxation of the Caribbean, nothing compares to the culture and WOW factor you get in Europe!
