Creative ways of identifying your luggage

What do you use to ID your luggage so that you can spot it easily in that huge room after leaving the ship? :P

If you have not used anything to ID your luggage, let's see what creative ideas we can all come up with <_>

We went to a craft store and bought some of those fluorescent-colored nylon rings like our kids used to use to make pot holders. We made big, bright pompoms out of them and attached them to the handles of our luggage. Every time we cruise, we hear comments from baggage handlers, red cap, stevedores, porters and experienced cruisers like, "Wow - that's the best idea I've seen - no way you could misplace those!" They're right, too. Our luggage really stands out at customs. We also use lime green luggage straps.

We have large round brightly colored nametags that we purchased at Wal-Mart, we also have brightly colored nametags that I made and lamenated and we have brightly colored luggage straps that we purchased. Between the three things they stand out pretty well in all that luggage.

Rita stenciled in red, symbols on our luggage on all six sides. Makes it easy to spot stacked up or on the conveyor belt.

We bought a long piece of maribou feather boa and cut a piece off and tied it on the handle (about 6" long) and it makes a big "puff". Had lots of compliments on it. My daughter and I both chose different colors. Easy to spot as I look for the 2 suitcases with the pink puff and she looks for the 2 with the purple puff. :D

My mom finds the worst looking, gaudiest fabric she can purchase thinking that no one else will dare use it on their luggage. She ties a thick strip of the ugly fabric around her beautiful luggage and a decorative bow around the handle made of the same fabric. I'm always embarrassed to pick up her luggage but I never have trouble finding it. B)

We have either bright neon pink duct tape wrapped around the handle of the suitcase, or I bought two of those big red, white and blue dice that people hang on their mirrors in their cars and have them tied around the suitcase. Those big dice worked great when we got off the Fantasy; we spotted our luggage immediately!!

Anything but pink ribbons. I recall one cruise and seeing all the luggage lined up at disembarkation. Over 50% had pink ribbons. I use lime green and also some multi colored yarn.
