When was your first cruise?

My first cruise was aboard the Alexandr Pushkin, from Montreal to what was then Leningrad in 1967. It wasn't so much a cruise as a mode of transportation, but there was a lot of fun on board, so I think it qualifies.

My first cruise was also on the Atlantic (Big Red Boat) but we went in 1992. We took our 2 girls and did 4 days at Disney World and then a 3 night cruise to Nassau. We had such a wonderful time.

16 SEP 99, first, but NOT last cruise on the Carnival Fantasy, celebrating retiring from the Army and 20 years of marriage. Then in was Fantasy again on 12 May 02, third with NCL on the Spirit to Alaska. Currently booked on the Carnival Inspiration for 9 May 05, and counting down the days.

A bad cruise beats not cruising at all.

My first cruise was on the Oceanic in 92', one of the Premier Disney cruise lines, and it was very nice. I went with my Mom and Dad and so glad I accompanied them, she died in 94'. We went to the Bahamas......Freeport.......and that little island Disney owns. She really enjoyed it.....although some of the walking about got to her. Just glad it happened. But I was struck by the cruising bug.....have loved it ever since. I hope to do more, soon. Mamaw

My first cruise was a budget cruise on the Regal Empress. A small but fun old Ship. Made me want bigger and better

Our first cruise was back in 1997 on the Fantasy. It was a 4 nighter and it was a blast! Our next cruise (#20) will be on the QM2 on Dec 20, 2004, a 14 night Caribbean adventure! Can't wait! :grin:
